Drannor Silverleaf ‘It’s yet to happen, and I doubt that I would do anything that stupid. Loyalty is a big thing amongst the army, and I am not one to shrink away from that after a few injuries. Maybe when I am older, I will leave them but other than that I do not see myself leaving any time soon.”
I smiled at her. “You know I’m always careful with myself, and after this I’m going to be even more so careful.” Losing an arm was not the easiest of things to get used to. “Why don’t we go and visit Auraka?”

Sahar sighed, resting her head against him once more but blinked in thought. "I'll grab the wheelchair," she said, giggling slightly as she jumped off the bed and went to hallway to find it.
A few moments later, she wheeled in a chair and looked from Drannor to the bed to the chair. "Come on, let me help you," she said and ignored any protests that would come.

Drannor Silverleaf
I sighed, knowing that she’d want to help me. I ignored the want to protest though not easily. When I sat up I did feel a little off balance. Our arms did a lot more than we ever thought until we lost one, it seemed.
“Thanks I think I need it.” I chuckled. “I feel very off balance. That doctor was right about that one.”
Though i did not like being the one being helped, i was used to doing things for myself.

She chuckled, settling him down in the chair and as a last thought grabbed the blanket from the bed and setting it on his lap. "The corridor is very cold," she explained, knowing how chilly it was in the backless gowns.
She pecked his cheek before wheeling him though the door, she knew her way though the hospital and knew the ward Auraka was in. "13 A," she muttered, passing each door.
She came to a halt outside a door, 37 C, and smiled before knocking on the door and peering in. "Hello?" she asked and saw Gem and Auraka looking at each other. "Happy to have some visitors?" she asked, bringing Drannor in.

Drannor I smiled as we came onto the room. “Nice to see you’re on the mend, Auraka.” I felt no different really, though I knew that I lost half my arm thanks to that bullet. I was strong though and this was something I would overcome, eventually. This was nothing to me, though I defiantly felt off balance. “Forgive me for not walking,” I said. I smiled though. The other person in the room, I guessed she was Gem, looked over at me. “Sahar didn’t tell me you lost it!” “I owe you a lot of gratitude actually, Gem. Thanks for telling Sahar for me. And don’t worry, I’ll recover.”

Auraka blinked in suprise at seeing his friend, he looked the same as always despite having half an arm missing. "G...Good to ssee you," he managed to mutter without stuffing up to much. Sahar smiled at Gem slightly, glad she had at least told her the secret. She pushed Drannor to sit beside Auraka's bed before settling beside Gem and nodding. "Yes, he isn't allowed to walk," she said and giggled slightly. She will still giddy with the thought of having him home again.

Drannor "You're likely going to be up and about quicker than I am, Auraka. It's going to be some time before my body completely adjusts to not having all of its limbs."
I smiled though. "how are you feeling?"

Auraka couldn't help himself, he chuckled though it caused him pain. "Doubt it...mmmy friend," he coughed giving Gem's hand a squease. "Good to see you to, pesky hand," he rose an eyebrow and chuckled again, breaking into a coughing fit. His head hurt, it ached but he knew he couldn't sleep. Not with those dreams...

Gem I sat near him, not really wanting to be too far from him at the moment. One of my arms went around him gently. The other moved, letting go of his hand for a second and rubbed his back soothingly.
Drannor I smiled, again. "I doubt you won't, Auraka."

He coughed once more, shaking his head and sighing in relief as he lent back into the pillows. He turned his gaze onto Gem for a moment, smiling his thanks. "I.. hope.." he mutttered with annoyance but smiled at Sahar. "It...is ggood to fffinally mmmeet you," he said, forcing his other hand from beside him and offered to shake it. Sahar, catching drift of what he was trying to do, clasped the hand firmly and shook it. "You to." she was, in a way, partly glad that this wasn't Drannor. The speaking..the heartbreak Gem must of felt knowing he might not ever wake up. She let the hand go and it dropped back to his side. "Ttthey say I have to ssspend a few mmmore weeks here...apparently...but I refuse," he chuckled turning his head to Drannor. "I sshouldn't be able to sspeak at all...nor move my hands.."

Drannor Silverleaf I chuckled. "You're as stubborn as me there, mate." I was surprised though that he seemed to have a bit more energy than he should. Then again we were all tougher than most of the people we knew in our lives, like family and non army friends. “You’ll be out of there before you know it, Auraka.” I knew he would be, I knew him only too well these days. How many years had I worked with him in the armed forces? Sure he was a high rank than me but it mattered not. We were good friends.

He smiled, forcing the slack mucles in his face to move. "And you'll be home and back on the field before you know it," he said, knowing that Drannor would never not return unless there was a real reason. One less hand wouldn't stop him.
Sahar smiled, nodding, though there was a saddness in her eyes. "Come on Drannor...Auraka looks tired, we can come back tomorrow," she said standing and resting a hand on his shoulder.

Drannor Silverleaf I knew he was right. “Not before you, old friend.” I smiled though as I heard what Sahar said. “We’ll come back at see you tomorrow alright?” At least I was keeping my mind in the positive at the moment. Nothing like that to help recover. “Try and think positive okay? It’ll help.” I was and there was nothing that could get me down at the moment.

Auraka nodded, but it was more of a flop, and lifted his hand weakly to wave goodbye. "Okay..." he murmered, knowing that he would not sleep tonight anyways. He smiled at Sahar "look after himm, he needs sssomeone to look himm..." he managed before yawning.

Drannor I laughed at that one. "You know me better than that," I teased him. But I let her take me back to my own room. I sighed. "I have a lot of respect for Auraka. He’s the one that trained me, and I've fought a lot of fights under his command. It’ll be good to see him when he’s recovered a bit.”
I smiled up at her when she helped me back onto my bed. “I’ll be glad to get out of this place in the morning, though I definitely need to get this hand replaced.”
Auraka would be fine; I knew he’d be up and active before he knew it. I had to undergo a lot of training again before I could even think about going back out to fight.Gem I sighed as he rested his head back down on his pillow. “You’ll recover Auraka,” I said. I knew that he would not let anything get the better of him, even though we only really knew each other a little bit. “There’s going to be times when I have to leave the base though, as there are some things I can only do at work as there is no way I can get the equipment back home for those things. Its too big to be packed in boxes like the few items I had at my house.”
I did not say anything about the fact the house had been broken into and that more of my arrows were stolen. That would only make him more worried and I was not about to mess up his recovery.
