She looked up at him and smiled lightly, wrapping her own arm around his waist and squeased it tightly. "I'm not," she said as they walked though the sliding doors. "Now, come on, you can become a hook man!" she chuckled and shook her head. She wondered how different he would be with only one hand.

Drannor "I'll be fine Sahar, and there is no way I'm getting one of those. They need me back out on the field so I'm going to have to get one of those prosthetic hands. Least that way I'll be able to do everything again."
I smiled at her. "I'm not hurting that much, really."

She frowned at him from under her red locks and hit his good arm lightly. "You will have a decent break before you go anywhere near that gun again," she said sternly, a mother speaking to her child. She pulled him along, by his good hand of course, and spoke to the nurses. "Yes, for 2..yes," she said and they motioned for them to sit down and wait.

Drannor I pretended to wince when she hit me, though it did not hurt at all. It felt more like a fly touching me really.
"What are you talking about? Of course I'll be having a bit of a break. I'm going to have to relearn doing a lot of things. And I plan on working on the other arm as well. Its hopeless at anything. I want to be able to do things with both you know."

She giggled and kissed his cheek, standing as his name was called. "I bloody hope so," she said and sighed, thinking about what she had to tell him. "I have a suprise for you later," she said, winking and sat down beside him, the doctor sat and waited. "So..Drannor...lets have a look at his hand," the doctor said, moving to unwind the bandages.

Drannor I sighed as i heard my name called. I knew that he'd have to look at the damage but i knew that it was beyond repair. I smiled though and sat down, holding it out to him. I knew what was hidden. "You might not want to see this," I told Sahar. "Pretty ugly."

She shook her head, refusing to leave his side now. She squeased his one good hand lightly, she was a doctor and had seen worse. "You forget Drannor, that I am a doctor," she said and a ghost of a smile hinted behind her lips.
The doctor unwound the banages, sighing as he saw the damage. It was clear that not much could be done. He pinched the tips of the fingers, looking at Drannor's face and waiting for a reaction. "Can you feel it?" he asked when nothing changed on his face.

Drannor I shook my head at her words but sighed. I could see where his hands were, but there was no reaction to what he was doing. "No. I can't feel a thing. My hands completely numb."
I sighed, knowing there was nothing that could be done now for my hand. The damage was done and i knew there was nothing good left in my hand. "Bloody bullet," I growled.

The doctor tutted slightly and shook his head. "It is nothing more than dead flesh...it's already cooling," he said with a sigh "I'll arrange for it to be removed as soon as possible...if we leave it attached, well it might get infected and make everything a whole lot worse."

Drannor Silverleaf
I’d known this would be the thing that happened for my hand. I’d expected that. “I did not think anything could have been done to save it, though I do not want to be one handed for the rest of my life.”
I looked at Sahar. There was nothing but the fact I knew this would happen in my face. I was not worried either about what this meant for the two of us. “Told you it would not be pretty.”
Losing one hand seemed a very small price for me at the moment. She did not know that if my hand had not been reloading my gun at the time, I would have died. The bullet would have got my throat.

She shook her head, touching the hand lightly herself and sighed. She knew he was hiding something, but she didn't pry. "Off with the hand," she said dryily, sounding like the witch from Alice in Wonderland. The doctor put down the phone and nodded slightly "they have just freed up...you can go now if you like."

Drannor Silverleaf I sighed. “Sooner the better.” But I was not planning on spending much time in here at the moment. I had no intentions of that at the moment. Later I would tell her that had my hand not been where it was and copped the bullet, I would not have returned to her, alive as I was. That was something I knew she would somewhat be shocked about hearing. I’d gotten lucky. Had I moved that hand any sooner I would have died three days ago.

She squeased his hand lightly, standing and thanking the doctor before leaving the room and following the signs down to the surgery part. "The base said they would pay for everything..." she murmered as they walked and paused in the middle of a small waiting room. They headed towards the desk and the lady behind it pointed Drannor in the right direction, telling Sahar firmly that she had to wait her. Sahar blinked dumbly, as if not understanding.

Drannor I stopped for a second and kissed her hair. “I’ll be fine. See you a few minutes.” At least she knew I would not feel a thing, what with my hand already being dead. Not that that sounded anything good to me. Then I turned and headed into the other room, knowing that this was going to be an interesting time ahead of us. I thought of Auraka, I’d heard he was back here, and somewhere in the building. I ha dto thank him later for something.

She smiled slightly and sighed as he kissed her hair, she let go of his hand and watched him walk through another pair of doors before sitting down and waiting. The dark eyes followed the hands on the clock. They said it shouldn't talk more than an hour and a half, but I already knew this would be longer, to me at least. 10mins..20mins..30mins. She shifted slightly, unseeing to those around her. 40mins...50mins..1 hour... Come on Drannor, where are you?
