She squeased his hand lightly and met his gaze. No, she decided. Not yet. "Don't worry," she murmered and kissed his finger tips "just get better...and come home." She didn't want to guilt him into anything, she didn't want to make him mirsable. She pushed his hair out of his eyes and kissed his nose lightly before resting her head on his chest once more. She closed her eyes, listening to the steady beat of his heart. How lucky she was, that it was still beating.

Drannor I knew there was something on her mind but i knew that I needed to rest for the time being. "Yes, ma'am."
I smiled at her, there was nothing about me that caused me to swear frequently. Though having that bullet hitting me had caused a lot of choice words at the time.

She giggled slightly for two different reasons. One, for his choice of words and two for when he spoke, his chest moved bouncing her head. She squeased his hand tightly and sighed in content. "I love you," she whispered and turned her head to face him. "Rest...we can go home in the morning...i'll stay with you," she added, knowing he would pretend that he was 'strong' enough without her, but she needed him so here she would stay

Drannor Silverleaf “You don’t have to stay. I’ll be fine. This is nothing in comparison to some of the places I've had to try and sleep in, believe me.” Though most found the beds uncomfortable it was not that bad to me. Only though because I was used to the hard ground and other worse places.

She sighed and closed her eyes, shutting off his ghostly blue eyes. She wondered if her suprise would have the same ones..they really were beautiful. She took a deep breath, taking in his musty scent and smiled lightly. "I'm happy here...anyways, I just got you back," she murmrered, pressing her lips into his chest and opening her eyes once more. How odd it was, he was the same person who had left only weeks before. Though, an arm less and seemed to of lost quiet a bit of weight. She lifted a finger, tracing his hallow cheeks and sighed. "I need to fatten you up again," she giggled.

Drannor Silverleaf I knew she would have noticed that I’d lost a bit of eight. We all had. That was something that was rather obvious. “You don’t say? I've been pretty busy over the last few months. It’s not always flat terrain that I have been fighting on, you know. Plus my gun is pretty heavy so that’s part of the reason. We do a lot of work out there.” I was out in the sun running about until sundown every day.

She smiled though didn't speak, instead letting her finger continue over his face. It traced his higharched cheekbones, down the tip of his nose and onto his lips. She smiled slightly, leaning across and kissing his lips lightly, a butterfly kiss. She shifted, curling up next to him on the small, uncomfortable bed and moulded into his side, sighing deeply. "I wish you would stay..." she whispered, closing her eyes once more.

Drannor “I will for a while. You know that. I've got to get used to not having that hand, and learn to do things with my other one for the meantime until I can get a replacement. Then once I've finished getting back up to speed with the replacement, well only then will I be off. That may take me a few months to deal with.” I smiled at her and kissed the top of her head. I shifted a little, felling my back scar twinge lightly.

She smiled slightly, but lifted her head as he shifted and winced slightly. She was so close to his side that she could feel every breath, including a twinge. "Whats wrong?" she asked quickly, deep eyes wide with concern. Her cold hand rose, resting on his warm cheek and waited for a reply. She wouldn't take 'don't worry' for an answer.

Drannor I sighed. “It’s nothing, just an old wound that’s all. One that healed a long time ago, one that none of the doctors here would have been able to fix as it would have been fatal if I was not dealt with back at the base.” I smiled at her. “Nothing but a scar really. They did their job well.”

She frowned slightly, not really believing him. He didn't really want her to know that he was in pain...she guessed most guys were like that. Her arm slid around him, probing lightly at his back and sighed as she felt the scar but then gasped, realising how big it really was. "How did you get that Drannor?" she asked quickly, moving so that she was proped up on her elbow.

Drannor Silverleaf I sighed, looking at her. I knew what she was referring to, it was constantly there. I thought about this though. “I was deployed in another country and the group of men I was with heard gunshots so we all hit the ground. I unfortunately was not in the best of places to do so and ended up rolling down a bit of a hill. Someone had died at the bottom and their weapon had a blade of some sort open. I rolled right on top of it.”

The eyebrow rose in disbelief and blinked slowly, staring at him. "Does it still trouble you?" she asked with a murmer and kissed his chest lightly, sighing. Of course it did, she thought, or he wouldn't of winced. She glanced over at the clock, only a few hours had past. "Home in less then 12 hours," she murmrered, looking around her work place.

Drannor Silverleaf
Again I sighed. “Occasionally it does, but not enough to trouble me in a way that could kill me out there on the field. That’s a time that was long past for me.”
I smiled at her though. There was nothing for her to worry about when it came to that scar. It was nothing to me. “I got sent home when I got it, until I’d recovered enough to be able to resume normal duties for the army.”

She shook her head slightly. "You know, you get injured and keep returning...do you even think that you might get hurt again? Get injured so badly that you wouldn't return?" she asked. He's insane, she thought but shook her head. No, he is loyal. She had to decide. Would she stay with him, waiting everyday for the letter until they stopped coming.. Growing old waiting, raising a child and working part time. She sighed and shook her head in answer to her own question. She couldn't.
