Jasper Cullen I sighed as I walked into my own room and put my dog down on my bed. She sighed, curling up into a ball, and yawned. I smiled as she did. "Edward knows when theres a guest in the house," I told her. "Esme will likely tell him off at dinner. That's in about ten minutes by the way."

She nodded slowly, pulling her hair over her right shoulder and ran her fingers though the glossy mane. "Thank you," she said quietly "you are all so..kind and welcoming..I wish there was something I could give in return." She shifted slightly, watching him move around the room gracefully. She found herself being drawn to him, admiring him from afair. But she knew, for it was clear, that someone like him would never end up with the likes of her. He was to..good for that.

Jasper Cullen I sighed as I heard what she said. "You don't owe us anything, Casey. We don't mind helping people when they need it. There are a lot fo charities that we often donate money to, and its no small amount at any time."
I laugehd though. "Really, you don't owe us anything, Casey." I smiled at her though.

She blushed red at the mention of charity, she hated to be thought of as charity but managed to calm her temper and nodded slightly. "Thank you," she said and nodded, hiding her face once more in her hair, hoping he hadn't noticed her change of colour.

Jasper Cullen I sighed as I saw her blush. I pretended not to notice though, instead heading over to the cupboards. In it were several large dog bowls. I left those on my desk, before heading back to the cupboard, pulling out the dog food. I definately had all my dogs attention now, always did when I fed them. I smiled though as I filled their massive bowls and put them on the ground careful. The dogs surged forwards as soon as I was out of the way. "That will keep them busy all of five minutes. I'll have to let them out of the house for a bit while we all eat dinner." I looked at my watch. As I did I heard a woman call, "Dinner everyone!"

Casey smiled, watching the dogs scoff their dinner and noticed that Jenny hadn't come over. Picking up the left over bowl, she took it over to the injured dog who ate it slower then the others and licked her hand in thanks. "Good girl," she said with a smile and stood, following Jasper from the room, suddenly nervous to be here. What was the rest of the family like? Did they even know she was here? She tried to stop the flood of questions, but there was just to many.

Jasper Cullen I smiled at her. “Don't worry about the others. They would not dare annoy you. Its not something anyone in my family is capable of doing, when there is a guest around. Though Emmett and Edward are likely to try and gang up on me. Much to Esme's annoyance. Not that I care, I can hold my own against them most of the time. Might be something interesting that might happen there."
I laughed though. "Emmett may be strong, but I am too quickl for him to even touch." I smiled. "You have nothing to worry about. They likely all already know you're here."

Casey nodded her frail head, the mass of red curls spilling around to hide her beautiful features. "I have survied worse," she said quietly, moving slowly yet gracefully to follow him downstairs. She stumbled slightly, her ribs still a quiet ache but she ignored him.
Something felt wrong, she knew but was unsure what it was. Something always felt wrong, but this was different from the other times. Then it hit her. She was safe. She felt safe. For the first time in her life. A small intake of breath was all the suprise she showed, but her eyes slid over to Jaspers handsome body and she took in the well muscled, slim body. The short hair and handsome features. This, she finally understood, was what love felt like.
But she barely knew him. A small sigh left her, but the dark green depths of her eyes kept returning to him. She wasn't good enough for him, she knew that much.

I chuckled, smiling at her. There was no doubt in my mind that I'd likely end up wrestling with one of the others before the night was out. We never hurt each other though. I heard the dogs running down after us as I turned towards the other corridor on the bottom floor, heading towards the circular wall. "It's this way," i told Casey.
We entered a rather big room with a long wooden table that sat at least ten people at once. I smiled as I saw only a few of the others in the room, mainly my parents, Alice and my black haired brother.
Esme smiled of course, her long caramel hair pulled back into a bun like always, then her eyes narrowed at me. "What did you do to yourself again?" she asked, looking at me.
Emmett laughed. "Get in another fight, Jazz?"
I sighed. "yeah I did, Emmett, but had I not then Casey would not be here I do not think," I replied. "The guy would have killed her."
"It's nice to meet you, Casey," Esme said, smiling warmly at her.

Casey blushed as they spoke about how he had saved her, she didn't like sounding as if she couldn't handle herself. Well, in all cases anyway. "Thank you," she whispered to Esme with a small overwhelmed smile "you have a wonderful family..and home..."
She flickered a hand up to her face, brushing the hair from her eyes so they could actually see her. Her green eyes took in everything at once, enjoying the feeling of being in a warm, happy place for the first time of her life. It can't last, she reminded herself and she sighed internally.

Jasper I was watching Emmett for a moment, not sure what he was planning on say next, knowing him, there would be something he was planning. I looked back out the corridor, seeing the dogs heading out the front door. They were out at work now. No one was getting in the yard, we all heard them growling as they headed out of the house.
“Looks like no ones getting in the property for a while. They wont let anyone in now that its night time. Unless their family of course."
I smiled as the other girls came in. I moved over towards casey again. "Meet Rosalie and Bella, my little sisters, Casey," I said. I looked at each of them in turn.
Rosalie the golden haired model and Bella was Bella, sweet, gentle, same hair as mum.

She gave a sigh wave to the girls, and blushed almost the same colour as her volumous hair. "Hey," she murmered quietly, eyes flickering to Jasper as she stood awkardly. Her ribs ached, but once more she ignored them.
What next? She wanted to ask, for she had no idea what would happen now. Her gaze flickered to the door, listneing to the growls of the dogs and gasped as she heard a yell. She jumped, without relizing, closer to Jasper and grabbed his hand, holding it tightly in fear. She knew the voice only to well.
"Casey!" came the shout "I will get you! You can't hide forever!" She shivered, burrying herself closer to Jasper and stared at the door with wide, beautiful eyes.

“He came did he?” I muttered. “Idiot.” I sighed, looking down at her. “Wait here a moment, will you?” I sighed, knowing that she knew as well as I did who that was that was calling to her. "Don't worry, he won't get you," I said, giving her a gentle squeeze before letting go of her. I headed out of the room onto the front porch, all my dogs were growling at the unknown figure on the lawn a while away. “Max!” I said. The dog looked at me. “Attack, but don't kill!” All four of the dogs that have come down from my room snorted and then rushed off towards the man. Their bellowing howls echoed as they ran towards the other guy. I turned and headed into the house, he would not have even seen me, seeing as the light had not been on. “he better run,” I said. “I told them to attack but not kill.” I smiled, knowing she would not want him dead, but he would not come here again.

She nodded slowly, closing her eyes tightly as if to push away all the bad thoughts which came to mind. As much as she hated the man, she couldn't stop the amount of love she had once felt towards him.
She heard more yelling and the yaps of dogs. The rattle of chains and then silence. Nothing moved. And he was gone, but she knew he would come again until he got her.
She smiled slightly at Jasper, feeling somewhat needy to holding his hand in fright but she knew she had reason. She shifted her weight under the gazes of the family, unsure were to look.

I sighed, wrapping my arms around her gently. I knew she had not liked the idea of my Dobermans running to attack the guy, but he had deserved it. I knew there was no chance they would do anything but chase him out of the yard if he crossed the path of my pack again.
"I told you, you're safe here. I smiled though, knowing that she could trust me when she needed to. I knew there was something about her that had drawn me to her on the beach, and it had not been that man.
None of the faces in my family was anything but kind at the moment. "Don't worry, Casey. You can stay here as long as you want," Esme said.
