Alexa Collins I smiled as we got back to his house. I knew that there was a lot to do for us this week. Not that I had thought anything else would be possible.
"Wonder whether I'll be strong enough to ride tomorrow. I need to get back in the saddle before we fly." I smiled.
I walked out to the letter box though and saw the huge package sitting under my own at the apartment. I sighed.
It was not very heavy at all. "Looks like I got what i was meant to."

He unlocked his door, opening it for her and smiled at the small bundle in her arms. "Whats with the sigh?" he asked, smiling warmly at her and closing the door behind him.
He had never been happier, for the first time in his life he was happy. So it seemed. "Well? Open it up," he said

"Nothing," I replied.
Opening up the huge box I smiled as I saw what laid inside of it. There was a light sky blue blazer, and long dark blue denim jeans, plus a white hat in one of the bags in the box. The other however contained the clothing I would be competing in. It was a deep green jacket with cream jodpurs.
I knew that this was my riding gear. Different though to what Sally had worn not too long ago when she was in the competition. Not that it mattered, our Olympic team always wore something different every year.
This was pretty, what I was to wear. It certainly had the well known Aussie green in it. Then I spotted the last iten in the bag with my riding gear. I pulled it out and infolded it. It was a gold numnah for under my saddle. I stifled a laugh at the sight of it. So I would be using our well known green and gold. Embroidered in the back corners on either side was the Australian Flag, with its Union Jack and Southern Cross.
For once I actually felt proud of my accomplishments so far. I had wanted to get to where I was now, and now I was going to get there. There could be no one prouder than I was right now. Well maybe with the exception of my husband.

He smiled and shook his head, knowing she would tell him if she wanted to. "Very cute," he said, eyeing the green and gold, already seeing her riding in it. "You and Prince shall make a very handsome couple," he chuckled and picked up the hat, placing it gently upon her head. "There...now, I must make a call, has your sister replied yet?"

Alexa Collins "I can't beleive this is really happening to me, though I know that this is." I smiled at him. The games were so soon now, and I was starting to get a little tense. "You better be there by the time the games start. I dont want you to miss out on anything."
I really could not wait to see Amy but the idea of him coming later than me was hard to deal with. I did not want to be away from him for any set period of time. We were meant to be with each other now.

He smiled, and shook his head. "I made a rush order...should be here tomorrow...so I shall fly with you," he said, kissing her cheek. "I might even let you do a little work on Prince tomorrow," he said, looking out the window and seeing the setting sun. "Go...have a rest it has been a long day."

Alexa Collins "I think she's working late. I'll call her again in the morning." I grinned at him. Then I yawned, picking up everything quickly and moving it onto the couch. I would not try anything on until it was needed. It looked the roght size for me.
"Thanks," I said.

He smiled a tired grin, kissing her cheek as she moved. "See you tomorrow," he murmered, watching her go quietly. He had a lot to do tonight, and the following day. Slowly, he made a list in his head.
'Ring about house, Talila, Ring Alexa's Father...' the list continued and slowly he began to yawn. He hadn't slept any more then she had...if possible even less.

Alexa Collins I smiled as I woke up. He was still asleep. Again. I got dressed and then headed out into the other room and dialed my sister's phone. This time she answered and agreed to come round with James. I knew that she would come soon. Then I headed back inside and sat down again.

With a snore, he rolled over and opened his eyes. They blinked in the dark room, seeking the still closed curtains. Blindly, he groped for the cord and pulled it apart.
"Bright," he muttered, rubbing the sleep from his eyes and clambered out of bed, seeking Alexa.
"Morning," he yawned, pulling a shirt over his head and smiling at her. "Sleep better?" he asked

Alexa Collins "Probably the best in a few days. Talila and James are coming," I replied. "I've been awake a while."
I grinned at him,

He wrapped a arm around her waist, pulling her closer to him and kissed her gently. "Good," he said, really meaning it. He wanted them here, looked after proberly and treated the right way. "Well, I think we best get started," he said yawning and looking at the messy house. "Time for housework," he chuckled.

Alexa Collins I smiled at him. I knew that was something that would be needed. "We have next door as well, since there's not enough rooms here. Don't forget my apartment."
I sighed. "I also have to go get my tack which I do not take to the stables and give it a good clean as well. That's at my house."

He nodded, smiling. "Well, go get your tack and bring it here....you can clean that while I cook some breakfast for you and clean up here....then we can start on your house and then begin packing?" he asked. Odd, for a guy, but he loved to cook. He could, and would, cook her anything.
He went to the fridge once more. "Bacon and eggs sound good? Or...." he rumeraged inside "Pancakes?" he asked, smiling at her.

I smiled at him. "Pancakes sound good."
I chuckled and then headed out the front door to my own door and unlocked it. Moving through the house quickly, but opening the few windows and the large sliding door for the patio, I opened a cupboard and pulled out the big tack trunk that had a portable pair of saddle horses inside as well as the two saddles and two bridles. Plus my showing halter.
Carefully I picked it up and headed back to his house. I put it down though at the door and stuck my head in. "Can you give me a hand with getting this in?"
