He smiled and nodded in agreement. "We will breed some champion's," he said and wrapped a arm over her shoulder as they headed towards the house.
They climbed up the poach steps together and he opened the door. "Ladies first," he smiled as they entered the warmth of the house. "Now...what do you want to do?" he asked with a smile and kicked off his boots before taking her in his large embrace.

Alexa King I smiled though as I got into the house. Things were certainly looking up for me for once. I knew that this was my home now, and there was point to deny that I felt safe with him around me. I loved him and that was the reason I had chosen him for the rest of my life.
He moved over towards me, wrapping his arms around me. I knew how much he cared for me, and I knew that he would never be like my father in any way. Because he knew what my father had made me go through.
I sighed as I felt his arms around me. My own arms moved, wrapping themselves around him.
"I am not sure."

He smiled slightly, pulling her tighter into his side with a warm hug. He blinked, an idea coming to mind. "Come on Alexa," he said, taking her hand and all but dragging her up the stairs. "I have an idea," he mused taking her into their bed room and sitting her on the edge of the soft bed. Leaving her there, he went to the draws and shuffled though them, searching for something.
A few moments later he returned to her, a small booklet in hand and offered it to her. "See if you can figure out what your next suprise is," he told her and smiled. "This, I must say, I think will be my best idea," he chuckled

Alexa King
I smiled at him, looking at the pages. I knew what this was. "We're going on a trip somewhere, aren't we?"
It did not take my eyes too long to figure out where. I said nothing, completely stunned. I had been there before, but not since I was about seven years old. My mother had had a big race there, and she had taken me with her.
I laughed in surprise. "Hawaii?"

He nodded with a smile. "For two weeks, Sally's taking the kids...we leave tomorrow," he smiled and kissed her lightly. "And the horses," he added though he knew they could be put with the kids as well. He shifted, moving to sit beside her on the bed and wrapped an arm around her once more. "Okay with you?" he asked

Alexa King I laughed as what he said made me realise that we were really going. "Of course its fine. I've been there once before, as a kid. I was only seven at the time though. My mother had to go there with one of her various mounts for a race and she took me with her all by myself."
I smiled at him, leaning over and kissing him gently. "That is definately a place I want to go back to, Kayson, that much I definately know. Thank you." I did nto move too far after I kissed him, instead choosing to rest my head on his shoulder.
I could not believe that was the place that he was planning on taking us there.

He smiled warmly, kissing the top of her head as it rested on his shoulders. "I'm glad you like it," he whispered "it will be just you and me for 2 weeks..Sally insisted it was for that long." He smiled slightly "we can do whatever you like there...swim with the dolphins or," he paused not sure what else you could do there. "Maybe go see Kilauea Volcano," he smiled slightly. "Whatever you want," he promised and kissed her hair once more.

Alexa King I laughed, kissing him gently. "We shall see what we do each day as it comes." I should have known that Sally was somehow behind this. She seemed to know everything. "Sally just wants me to enjoy the things she missed out on fifteen years ago, thats all." I could not blame her for that could I?
I pitiied her so much, and ever since i had met her at a race when my mother had been a jockey for her, we had become family though we could technically never be. She was the mother i missed too much.

He smiled, musing her soft locks and sighed quietly, looking at the time. "It's a early flight," he told her quietly "you better get some rest." With a small smile, he picked her up like a child and placed her on the bed, pulling the covers up around her chin and kissed her forehead. "I'll come up later, I need to do something first," he promised with a smile, leaving the room quietly and turning off the light, watching her in the dark for a moment before closing the door softly.

Alexa King I sighed as he said that. It would take me some time to get to sleep, I knew that much. This bed seemed too empty without him in here as well. For a while I lay awake, not able to drift off until he came in here. I just felt like the room was too big without him being here. It really was a big house and I knew that this would take some getting used to. When he did come in though, I pretended to be asleep, though I really was fully alert to my surroundings though I feined sleep.

He entered the room once more, footsteps muffled by the soft cream carpet and smiled at her sleeping form. He wasn't fooled, knowing well that she feigned sleep but decided to play along.
Pulling back the cover, he laid beside her carefully as not to jostle her from sleep and wrapped a arm around her, just likeing to know she was there. "Night sweetheart," he whispered in the dark and kissed her brow.

Alexa King I rolled over into him, finding I was actually starting to drift off finally. I sighed though, trying to get some sleep. Though I would miss little Lily, I knew that she would be happy with Sally and Sara. I knew he was there when he opened the door though I made no sign of knowing. Sleep just had not wanted to come to me at the moment, until now. A small smile settled on my lips as I finally drifted off to sleep, touching the one person I would ever love. A perfect end to the day.

Kayson woke to find her using his chest as a pillow. Her long dark brown hair spilled over him and a few strands clung stubbonly to her sweaty cheek. He smiled, loving the way she looked so peaceful. His eyes darted to the clock, knowing they had to get up now so not to miss there plane. A hand rose, resting between her shoulder blades and rubbed it gently. "Alexa, honey, wake up," he murmered "we need to get going if we are going to make our flight."

Alexa King I snorted when I heard him saying that. Then I opened my eyes, looking up at his face. It was rather dark still so I was a little surprised. "What time is it?" I asked, smiling at him in the dark.
I moved raising myself so I was level with his face and kissed him gently. I knew that we were heading out. It made me happy the thought of ging away for a while with him. It was something I was happy to do. "When's the flight?" I asked.

He smiled back and returned the kiss before brushing the hair from her eyes. "Its 5am, but the flights at 8," he replied quietly. "I packed for us last night...well Sally packed for you," he smiled gently. "We need to be there in the next 2 hours and it takes a while to drive there..and I thought you might like a shower to wake up or something," he carried off and smiled instead. He was stuck until she got up, so he stayed put.
