He put a finger under her chin, tilting her head so he good look into her eyes and smiled lightly. "We have all the time in the world my dear," he said with the lightest pressure against her lips.
He thought for a moment, wondering what they could do. "Well...I did have another suprise for you..but it doesn't start until tomorrow morning..." he smiled slightly and nodded to the couch. "How about we just watch a movie or something? Your choice of course," he chuckled.

Alexa King I smiled at him, but raised an eyebrow at the mention of another surprise. "That will be interesting to see what that is." I chuckled. I was getting used to all these surprises that he kept giving me.
"I just dont want to push it tonight that's all," I told him. I knew that eventually we would be able to try and do that, but I rathered taking the slow path at the moment.
I knew my face showed that I thought that was a lame idea though, the movie one. "You know i don't like jsut sitting around!"

He grinned easily and bobbed his head into a single nod. "I dare say you'll enjoy it," he said and smoothed her facial expression at the mention of sitting around and doing nothing. He rolled his shoulders, though his eyes sparkled. "Well then, your choice as I said before," he grinned, having known her reaction. He didn't comment on the 'trying later' part. Things would happen in good time, and he was happy to wait.

Alexa King "I have not forgotten that I once told you that we would have our own kids. So you dont need to worry about that, my dear." I knew that Lily would love having a younger brother or sister. "When that will be I do not know." I smiled at him though, hugging him gently. I would know when i was ready for that one, and no one could push me there. Sighing, I kissed him gently, there was something that told me I was a fool for waiting, but that I ginored. There was no point in rushing things and I knew he was a patient man.

He wrapped his long arms around her, holding her close and smiled with a shake of his head. "My dear," he rumbled "I didn't say a thing, and you know I shall wait forever for you." He looked out the window, seeing that the rain had started to lighten and smiled. "Want to go for a ride?" he asked, seeing has they hadn't tried out the brand new arena in the place. "It's about time we try out that new sand, and Prince might like a run...if your going to ride Prince I might give Lasair a go," he said with a smile.

Alexa King I smiled at him. "Sounds like a great idea. He needs a bit of a work out seeing as he has no had any hard work all day." I laughed. "It'll be nice to see how she goes in there. She's not in heat is she?" I hoped not, because I knew Prince could get a little headstrong if that was the case, though I managed to always keep in control of him. "Though he won't give me any trouble, its you I would be more worried about there. I smiled though. "I think I might want to get changed though. I find wearing jeans a little uncomfortable in the saddle these days."

He paused, thinking for a moment before shaking his head. "No...I don't think she is, anyway I think I can handle a mare in heat...If I can take Idi, I think i'll be alright," he grinned and looked down at his still bare chest. "Oh, I might have to as well," he said with a shrug, as if it was nothing important.
He wondered if Idi was in heat yet, his beautiful white mare. Maybe he could get her in foal before spring.

Alexa King I smiled at him. "Would be a good idea if you did, love." Didn't want him getting sick, did I? I laughed and then headed over to our room again. "Take which ever horse you want. We'll know if their in heat, Prince will react almost straight away if that is the case." I knew my horse only too well to know when he reacted to such a thing. Smiling I hunted through one of the bags that my sister had dropped around here for me. It did not take me long to find my normal older riding gear that was only for practise work.

Kayson chuckled, kissing her head before running up the stairs, 2 at a time, and pulling on some jeans and a shirt. "Better?" he asked, stutting down the stairs as if he was on the runway and turned at the end to show her the pair of well loved clothing. He chuckled, reaching the bottom and hugging her tightly with a light kiss. "Now, lets go see these over loved ponies," he chuckled

Alexa King "Much as I liked seeing you without a shirt on, its hardly a good idea to go outside like that at night." I smiled at him. "Much better." He knew how much I loved some of the things he liked to wear. "Last one tacked up is a rotten egg?" I asked, rather cheeky. He knew he would win, I was used to looking over every minor detail. "You know, there's a gymkhana over at Sally's house the day after tomorrow. I'm competing in the adult events. You feel like giving it a go?"

He laughed, liking how she was beinging to open so to him. "Hmm maybe..." he said, knowing that they weren't going to be here. Part of his suprise. Sally knew, of course, for she was looking after the kids while they flew to Hawaii for 2 weeks. "Race ya," he called with a wink, already running for the door as if he was still just a child. He would go slower today though, tacking up the still unfamilar mare. He didn't want to scare her.
He ran tough though the lightly pouring rain, ingorning the wetness as it clung to his cotton shirt. Who cared! It was just rain. He entered the stables, pausing to turn on the lights before heading for the tack room, pulling the brand new saddle and tack for the mare. "Hello pretty," he said gently, entering the stall and stroked her neck and giving her a quick brush over.

Alexa King I laughed as he ran for it. he at least i would not yell at for running in the stables. No point really. Iwas close behind him and Prince was closer to the tack room. I darted in there he snorted but did nto react as I worked quickly to tack him up, though I made suret o check his hooves and everything. "You know Kayson there is a race like this in a couple of days only if you're last well someone will throw a runny egg at you. The horses are all used to such things though."

Kayson breathed a quiet laugh, leading the tall mare from her stall and paused outside Prince's stall. "It is odd," he stated "how people think of such things." He shook his head slightly, clucking the mare forwards and mounted her gracefully. She shifted under his weight, but did not more from her perfect stance. "Good girl," he murmered, rubbing her neck with a now gloved hand and paused looking over at Alexa. "Hm, chuck me a hat won't you honey?" he asked, knowing he wouldn't fall for he was a better rider then that, but better safe then sorry.
Lasair flared her nose, sniffing the raining air outside as he pushed her gently yet firmly forewards towards the arena. She moved willingly under his light touch.
The black arab mare lifted her feet lightly, seeming to take care where she placed her feet but still moved confidently on the wet surface. Kayson halted, switched on the light for the arena and whistled though his teeth, the mare stood steady and waiting.
"Fancy," he said looking over his shoulder for Prince and Alexa.

Alexa King I smiled and tossed one of the hats to him, leading Prince out under the eaves of the stables before I got up onto him. He was a good boy but i never mounted inside the stables, purely for the fact that he was not the best horse to do so with and Sally had drilled that into me.
I smiled though as I reached him. "Wow!" It was certainly very impressive to see this place. "Oh and I thought of that race I told you of, Kayson. I'm the crazy one behind that." I laughed though.

He laughed with her, pushing Lasair forwards with a slight pressure with his knee before turning and flashing her a grin. "Warm up and try some jumps?" he asked nodding at the end of the arena were some jumps sat, left behind from the last owners.
He pushed the beautiful ebony mare into a easy trot, her transitions were perfect. She seemed to float above the ground, and he was impressed. She was almost as good as his Idi, though no one would ever be as good as her to him.
He cut though the middle of the arena, urging her into a lope on the corner and she complied without a fuss. With a smile, he remembered the things her old owner had told him and decided to see if she would do them for him. Halting the mare and shifting his weight slightly, the fae lept into a capriole before coming to a perfect halt. He grinned, trying a Piaffe which she completed with perfection. The owner had told him of the move she had been teaching the mare, it was still fresh but he decided to give it a go. He shifted his weight once more and the mare reared, dancing the Levade dance.
Lowering her hooves to the ground, Kayson grinned at Alexa. "Spainsh horse riding stuff," he said with a wink.
