Alex Collins I smiled at him as he told me about his mare. I grabbed my surfboard out of the back before moving towards the stairs. There was nothing like meeting new neighbours. We walked a little while in silence until we reached the top floor. I looked towards my door way. “Wanna come inside?” I hoped he would. I liked having him around. He was too cute.. for his own good. I hoped he realised that. I walked towards the door and unlocked it. I liked this place. “Any yes, I have one, a palomino Quarter horse cross Appaloosa stallion, Perception Prince.”

Kayson. James. King. He flashed her a smile and nodded slightly. "Sure," he said with a shrug and followed her into her small home. It was like his own, basic settings though not filled to the roof with boxes like his own. "Do you show?" he asked, looking around the tidy home and rocked slightly on his feet, trying not to feel so akward. His eyes kept straying to her beautiful face, making him blush slightly.
Those eyes..so deep and pure. He would easily get lost within them.

Alex I smiled and walked into one of the other rooms. All that was in there was shelf after shelf of trophies and ribbons. All from my stallion. "You could say he;s a champion. But not just at showing. He;s a hunter jumper, endurance, show jumping and barell racing champion as well. I moved here with my family to further our sucesses."
I chuckled, looking at a couple happily. "We get quite busy at times, you know. Now that I've moved out of home I can compete when ever I want to with him. Without worrying about my father."

Kayson James King He followed her, breaking into a huge grin at the sight of the ribbions. "Idi and I are the same," he said, reaching a hand to touch one of the ribbons. It was all rather impressive.
He looked over at her at the mention of her father, wondering what she ment. "Your father doesn't like horses?" he asked, turning to face her.

Alex Collins "No he hates the animals. He does not understand how much horses can end up being worth. Maybe he would if i was competing in the Olympics but other than that, they're worthless in his eyes. My father hates them, and used to complain so much when he had to take me to one of the many shows I compete in."
I smiled though. "I'm looking to buy a mare or two, for breeding stock." Not so easy a thing for me to find. I knew the kind of mares that I was looking for at the moment.

Kayson. James. King He nodded sadly, understanding where she was coming from but had not been though it myself. He settled himself on the couch, unsure what else to do. "My father was never like that...he let me chose my mares parents and raise he myself...it was his dying wish," he said, voice lacking emotion. He wasn't sure why he had told her, it wasn't normally something he told everyone.
He sighed, looking at her. What was he even doing here?

Alex Collins " Well I guess you know a thing or two about breeding horses, unlike some people who wanted foals from my stallion. I've had all sorts of mares being brought to him, though the fees are getting higher for people to want to breed from him. I'm not letting just anyone have him breed with their mares any more. Some of the foals were disastrous that I;ve seen pictures of. Some look like their half draft horse."
Not the sort of foal one wanted from a champion sports horse. Those people were clearly ignorant of the side affects of that kinda breeding.

Kayson. James. King He blinked once, and nodded. "Yes, I am planning to breed Idyllic after a few more shows, she will have some good foals," he said with a smile, fiddling with his hands. "She's a Andalusian, though has some Appalossa and QH blood in her," he said with a smile. She wasn't a pure bred, but who cared, she had beaten all the pure breds by a mile. "Such a sweet girl," he said, smiling at her and pulled out his wallet. "That's her," he said, pointing to the mare.
Idyllic:

Alex I smiled at him after I looked at the picture he showed me. "She's rather beautiful," I said. It was easy to see why she was a champion as well. I knew a champion when I saw one. "Be interesting if we end up competing against one another." I chuckled.
"It's interesting how Prince has been up against full blooded Quarter Horses and Appaloosa's and not one of them can beat him. He and I know our games too well for any of them to have had a chance at winning. Its getting harder to get into competitions because people back out when they hear he's in the competition."
I sighed.
"I'm sorry to hear about your dad."

Kayson. James. King. He chuckled as she spoke of other backing out at the comps. "I have the same problem, though in a different direction. Everyone thinks they can beat me and my little mare, so they try only to lose by a mile," he said and sighed, putting his wallet back in his pocket. "It was nearly 6 years ago now," he said with a shrug, dropping it at that. He wasn't an overly emotional person, pefering to keep to himself. Though, he was also one to help others. A odd mix of personilties.

Alex Collins I smiled at him/. "That i can sorta understand. I think I've heard of your mare a few times back where I used to live." I chuckled. "I think at one time i was one of the people who backed out. Though now i think I might reconsider doing so next time."
I thought about it. "I could use another challenge. She might give me a good challenge actually. Dont know how I could ahve done that once before. Sounds like she's good at what you compete in."
Yes she did sound to be that way.

Kayson. James. King. He chuckled but nodded. " You going to the Talamh Roses Show next weekend?" he asked, for he might see her there. " What grade do you compete in anyways?" he asked, guessing it was the top level but was never sure. He paused, thinking for a moment, trying to remember te events he was in. " We are competing three times, show jumping, dressage and cross country," he said with a smile, knowing Idi would run her little heart out without him even asking.

Alexa Collins I smiled at him. “Perception Prince and I are A grade competitors. Been to national level and everything. Waiting though for the Olympic trials, we’ve got a place to compete for there. I’ll likely be against you in Showjumping. Showing as well if you’re in that. Be interesting when that happens.” Who would come out on top of the other person in a competition? Only time would show. “Prince is a good boy, he’ll do anything for me. He rarely shies at anything either. I’m looking to get another horse with the same genes as him, since he’ll be retired to stud soon.”

Kayson. James. King. He smiled and nodded, knowing he would never have the chance for Olympic levels, no matter what he did. Not that he didn't want to, or that his mare wasn't good enough. He just couldn't. It was just something no one would ever understand.
He had done national level a few times, but after half a year has chosen to drop out and give the spot to another capable rider. His mind drifted slightly, though he still listened to her. Would they speak of anything else? Or just there horses? He liked this shy yet chatty girl, and wanted to learn more about her but wasn't sure how.

Alex Collins I looked at him, realising I had not really explained why my dad hated horses so much. “There's a reason my dad hates horses. My mother was a Quarter Horse racer and in one of the races she was in her horse fell and she had about 5 horses thunder over her. It killed her.”
I sighed, looking at the ground. “My father and I have sorta drifted apart because of that. Its driven quite a wedge between me and the rest of my family, thats gotten bigger over the last 5 years. IU was glad when I moved out of home. Though I know dad still loves me, I don't see him as much any more. He rarely comes around to talk.”
Kind of a sad past, but what could I do about it?
