Kayson. James. King He took her smaller hand in his, squeasing it lightly and smiled into her eyes. "I am sorry," he said gently, not wanting to upset her. "If it helps, I understand what you are going though," he said, patting the top of her hand. "When I turned 12, my father found out he had cancer and only had 8 months to live. He died within six months, but I got Idyllic from him," he said with a sad smile before looking out the window. "My mother followed, 5 months later dying of a broken heart....I looked after my sister, who was 15 at the time. She was older, but dying of the same thing as father, cancer..." he said, blinking quickly to stop the tears. He had never told anyone this before, why was he telling her? "Sorry, didn't mean to tell you my life story," he said.

Alex Collins I smiled at him a little bit. “I don't mind hearing that sort of thing. I moved out of home to get away from everyone else. None of them really care about me any more. My brother might but one person is not enough to stop me when I've made my mind up about something.”
I thought for a moment. This guy seemed friendly, and I seemed opener around him than around many others that knew me. “If it was not for the fact that I knew that something would happen one day that I wanted, I would still be with them.”

Kayson. James. King. He smiled gently, thinking again. "You know...Alexa," he started but paused before plowing on ahead "I have never met a girl like you before..." He smiled again, but more shyly this time, more hesitant than before.
His hand lifted, untwining from there tangled hands and raised towards her face. A single finger pushed the hair from her wonderful eyes she was so used to hiding.
"Alexa, you are beautiful and should not of had such a hard life," he said, smiling softly and leaned in towards her, kissing her gently upon her full lips. He wasn't thinking any more.

Alexa Collins My eyes softened as he spoke to me this time. Having my eyes clear from my hair was not something I was used to. I was only too used to hiding my eyes, whether with my hair or with sunglasses. I smiled as I listened to his wonderful voice. Yes something felt good about him to me.
What that was I did not understand until he kissed me.
Love. I was in love with someone I had only known for one evening. How crazy could someone get? Not that I cared about that.
Ever so gently, I kissed him back

Kayson. James. King. He paused, returning to his senses. What had he done!?! He pulled away, staring at her with unblinking green orbs. "I...I am so sorry," he said, pulling away and facing the front on the couch.
Did he love her? A girl he had just met? Could he love her? These questions flew though his head, he had never been so confused. Did she return the feelings? Or was his mind playing games on him...she had returned the presure, only lightly but she still did.

Alex Collins I smiled at Kayson. Though I hadn't expected what he did, I had liked it.“Don't be sorry. I wouldn't have minded if you did that again.”It was obvious that he liked me. I blushed. How could I fall for someone who I had not known for very long? Well I guess it was a possibility. Not that it was one that I had ever expected.
“I guess you feel the same way about me as I do about you.” There was no other explanation for my own reply to what he had done. I knew that and I was not going to lie about it.

Kayson. James. King. His eyes flicked to hers, expecting to be kicked out. What a great nextdoor neighbour, kissing her on there first meeting. But he froze at her words, repeating them in his head. Yes.. He felt the heat rushing to his face, though he had to nod in reply. His mouth opened, ready to say something but closed once more. What was there to say?
So, he didn't speak. Rather, he kissed her again. It was just a light and perfect as before. Her lips, shapely and perfect in there own way. He pulled away to breath and smiled at her slightly. "You really are beautiful.." he said quietly.

Alexa Collins I smiled at him. He seemed surprised by what I had said. Well I'd blushed as well, so I was the one who was the more embarrassed person this time. “No way would I kick you out, Kayson,” I said, knowing what he was thinking. He was so easy to read for me. Not that it mattered.
He kissed me again and I returned it yet again. I was definitely in love with this man. I was glad my dad did not live with me, nor that my brother was not here for the day. I knew he would be coming soon though, and that I was not pleased with. I had no time for being checked on like a 5 year old kid. I looked after myself.

Kayson. James. King. He smiled slightly, meeting her beautiful gaze. "I would like to think not," he said, brushing away the hair that had fallen once more over her eyes.
He looked at the roof, studing the odd surface. "So, Alexa..." he said, strugling to find a topic to talk about. "Where is your stallion roomed?" he asked, wondering if they were in the same stables. His hand dropped from his lap and onto the couch, gently touching hers. Without thinking, he took it gently, just holding it like that. It seemed right.

Alexa Collins His hand on my felt nice and i did not realise how much I really had missed out on having never had a guy who liked me before. That was a little embarrassing and I knew that blood reddened my cheeks. Sliding my hand out from his I stood up.
I paused to consider the right answer for that question. I knew the stables where my stallion was stabled at the moment. “The stables just outside of town. You've probably seen me there, just not realised it. Its the only stables anywhere near here, not that travelling is an issue.”
I smiled and then walked out of the room to move my surfboard out onto the veranda so it would dry off. I'd wash it off tomorrow, there was no more daylight left for the day. It only took me a few moments before I was shutting the sliding glass door and moving towards the sink.
“Want something to drink?” I asked. I reached up into one of the cupboards getting a glass out, then filling it with Coke.

Kayson. James. King. He didn't speak as the blood rushed to her face, nor when she removed her hand, guessing what was on her mind. His eyes wandered, following her movements.
He thought about the stable, trying to remember seeing her before but couldn't. "No, I haven't seen you...but we only moved in the day before last..." he said with a shrug, eyes followed her as she left the room. He didn't ask any questions when she returned.
"Sure," he replied, picking the glass off the table and taking a sip, shivering slightly. "Nice and cold," he chuckled, tapping the glass with a finger. "Oh...do you like dogs?" he asked suddenly, wondering if she might like to meet his 7 week old border collie.

OOC: So sorry for not making it back on last night. Alexa Collins I chuckled as he spoke again. “I always have plenty of stuff here that I might need one day.” Then I paused, thinking of what he said. “I love dogs. In fact...” I walked across the room to where there was a closed door. That was the room my puppy was in when I left the house. I opened it and a little black and white border collie ran out to me. I picked her up happily. “Meet Skye, my dog.” The puppy yapped excitedly. “I should have let her out as soon as we got home. She's too active for one room only.”
