Fern's strong arms snapped out, snatching her body before it smashed into the ground. He watched as the humans ran, he looked down at her pale face. "Hm don't think were going far today eh Nuitdor?" he spoke to the mare, climbing down from her saddle and placing the girl on the floor, looking around the clearing before deciding it not safe. "Come on old girl, lets find somewhere safer," he said, pulling her into his arms and heading back the way they had come.

Pollyana I couls still feel the trees and things around me so I knew where i was. I knew who was with me and who they were. There was a safe place i knew of, in the mountain nearby. A cave that I had first entered this world through. I'd closed the portal though, sealing it so none but myself could reopen it when I got there. Maybe her knew of it.

He kept her tightly in his arms, stepping gracefully over a running stream and the mare followed contently. He looked down at her sleeping face, smiling. "Your beautiful," he said, knowing she couldn't hear him. He carried her towards a cave he knew of, it was empty, clean and warm. Just what they needed. Upon reaching the cave he put her gently on the floor, pulling the blanket from the saddle bags and tucking it around her before getting to work and building a fire.

Pollyana Caesar Though my body gave no reaction to his words, I certainly heard every single one. My body was already recovering, but I would be asleep at least until tomorrow. The magic I had just used have done more than changed the men. It had given the fallen trees another change at life.Tomorrow night at the earliest I would wake up, maybe not until the next morning.
We would soon see. At least he knew just how powerful that healing touch I had was. This was not much of a cost for me. I was used to sleeping. At least when it came to this sort of thing. I would sleep again after this once I woke up until the next time i used my magic.

The fire was started quickly and neatly, the same way he had done it all his life. His eyes, the purest of greys, kept glancing over at her watching the shallow breaths of sleep and smiled. She was beutiful asleep and awake. She moved with the power of an angel, as graceful as a bird. He chuckled, running riddles though his head before deciding to make his own.
He hummed it under his breath, smiling as the words came to him.
"YOU will come one day in a waver of love, Tender as dew, impetuous as rain, The tan of the sun will be on your skin, The purr of the breeze in your murmuring speech, You will pose with a hill-flower grace.
You will come, with your slim, expressive arms, A poise of the head no sculptor has caught And nuances spoken with shoulder and neck, Your face in a pass-and-repass of moods As many as skies in delicate change Of cloud and blue and flimmering sun.
Yet, You may not come, O girl of a dream, We may but pass as the world goes by And take from a look of eyes into eyes, A film of hope and a memoried day.
He smiled once more, deciding he was getting better as he wrote and continued to stir the soup, waiting for her to awake.

*skipping to the night after*
Pollyana My strength had almost come back to me now. I knew that I was about to wake up. Everything that had happened around me while i was asleep I had heard, from the ants moving to gather food, to what Fern was doing whilst i slept off my spell. No threat from that group of foresters either.
I smiled as i woke up, sitting up easily.

He stood, feeding his mare as he waited for her to wake. He was slightly worried, she had been asleep for a long time, but he knew it was just sleep. "Oh, hello," he said, blinking slowly as he saw her and smiled. "How was your sleep?"

Pollyana Caesar "It was good, very interesting some of the things i heard going on both here and in the bush. I don't just sleep when i recover, I sort of commune with the forest itself."
I smiled at him. "I wont need to sleep again for a long while. Not till I use my gift again. That is the only thing that tires me to be honest."

He smiled and nodded as if it all made sense. For a part it did. A slight reddess entered his cheeks are her comment and looked away, brushing the black horse's coat until it was glossy. "It is good to see you awake again," he said quietly, as if unsure if he wanted her to hear it. He turned to her, the colour gone and his eyes guarded, and smiled. "Did you know," he said suddenly "your eyes are the most beautiful shade of silver known to man." He reached an arm towards the floor of the cave, reaching into the dirt base and calling to whatever laid there. It was a seed, just as before, but this time he changed it. Instead of blooming in a bright colour, it grew into a large, perfect flower of silver. He smiled, for it still breathed. A living flower made of silver. With a graceful bend, he picked it up and pressed it into her palm. "For you," he said, turning his back once more.

Pollyana This time I actually felt the flower burst into life when he did it. I coujld not tell what kind of flower before I saw it though. My cheeks blushed though at his words. "Its beautiful." My emotions seemed to be getting the better of me for some odd reason.

He smiled, noting the red flush in her cheeks with delight. It seemed he wasn't the only one having trouble controling his emotions. "The plesure is all mine," he said with a cheeky grin and began to hum the song he wrote about her. He liked the tune, the words seemed true. He wondered, for a fleeting moment, if she had heard it.

Pollyana Caesar I did not however blush this time when I spoke, but only barely. "I heard you singing while i was asleep. Nothing went unmissable while i was asleep. That was a rather nice song that you were singing."
I smiled at him/ "You hanging around here for a while or what?" I was not planning on it for too long, I knew that my actions would be spoken off by those humans. They would be back and I would ahve to send them away again.
Quite the frustrating thing that I should use so much energy and they used none.

Fern nodded, eyes flickering to the outside light before smiling slightly. "Nothing else planned, still trying to figure out the land here..." he said and laughed quietly as she spoke about the song. "Hm...well you should, it was about you," he said sending her a wink and pulled an odd looking muscial instrument from his saddle bag, strumming the weird strings.

Pollyana "I have almost figutred out all these people, and bought a house as well. You could come and stay with me if you want instead of always being out in the bush unless that would be too wierd for you."

He looked at her with plesant suprise and nodded slightly, but his eyes darted to his beloved mare. "That would be nice..." he said after a moments pause "but her?" he asked with a gesture to the black beauty. The grey eyes swept over the cavern, stiring the soup once before spooning it into a bowl and handing it to her.
