I paused, thinking about what this new girl said to me. It stunned me a little though when she kissed me. That was somerthing I had not expected from someone I had just met a few seconds ago. "That is a beautiful name, Flora." How many of these sprites were there in the forest? No wonder I had always had the feeling I was being watched when I was running about in here. It was the trees themselves that were watching my every move. I sure as hell did not want to anger them, that much I knew.
"Excuse me for asking, miss, but what exactly is a tree sprite?"

Flora blinked at his question, not really knowing how to answer it. For all the things she had heard, how could someone never have heard of a forest sprite? Erviin was right, men really are stupid...but at least he's cute. "Tree sprites and Forest sprites are the spirits that dwell in the forest. We rarely converse with mortals, but Erviin and you are...special cases." She smiled meekly and dropped her gaze to the ground, wondering what else was on his mind. Had he liked the kiss? Was he going to accept her, even if she wasn't mortal?

"My apologies if I seem to not really know much about you. I do not really do much that would tell me of anyone like you," Rudi apologised. He smiled though, looking at her the whole time. There was not much different about her in his own mind. She was as pretty as many of the girls he had seen in his own travels, but he knew that there was something about her that drew him to her.
She was not a mortal being like him? That did not matter to him. Not much did really. How was he meant to tell her that he was attracted to her? That was not something he seemed to be able to find the words to say really. Though he knew that the trees would likely be able to tell her of that.
"You know, you really are a beautiful girl." That was all he could think to say at the moment.

Flora could not help but blush, even though he was mistaken. She was no girl, in fact, she was nearly a thousand years old. If she still looked like a girl, then more power to her. The trees in the forest were nearly as old as she was, for she had come to this forest in its beginning days. Though she knew his thoughts already, it was still wonderful for him to say it out loud, so that the rest of the forest could hear his decree. She smiled though, leaning forward and whispering softly to him. "And you are a handsome boy."

He smiled, there was nothing about her that he did not like. Never had he thought that he would meet someone like her. "Do you ever leave the forest?" he asked. He already knew she likely did not, seeing as he had never seen her before now. "Umm... thanks." He was a little surprised though by what she had said. he knew though that she was not something he would have seen and forgotten. She was too pretty for him to be able to forget her.

Flora tilted her head, looking at him as a perplexed dog would. Did he really know nothing of the forest? Why then did the trees favor him? She took a step back, almost afraid of him, the fight or flight response taking hold of her mind as she saw it in his eyes. Could the trees possibly have made a mistake? She shunddered at the thought of the forest having made a mistake, though timidly still she took a step back. "Why would I need to leave my forest? It is my home, is it not? It has protected me all my life, there is no need to leave it..."

"I'm sorry, I did not mean to annoy you or anything, miss." He sighed. Today had not been normal for him. Too many things were in his head that he had never heard existed in this wood. Gone were the days when he thought everything was normal.
"I do not know as much as some, about this sort of thing. I have never lived here in the forest for longer than a couple of days when I was camping as a kid with my family. My life has been outside of here mostly, so I do not know that much about living in the forest."
God he felt like an idiot at the moment.

Flora stared at him a moment longer, taking in all that he had said. It must not be easy, living on the outside amongst all those smoggy cars and polluting toliets. But here-everything was about nature. "Come with me. Let me show you something." She smiled, walking toward him and closing the distance she had created by stepping away from him. She leaned up and kissed him again as she heard rustling in the trees, fearing another nymph might come and try to steal him away; a kiss meant he was claimed. She glared up to the trees for a moment, but then lost herself in the kiss, closing her eyes. Her petite hand fumbled around for his. Finally she found it, slipping her hand into his much larger one and squeezing gently.

He smiled at her, thinking for a moment before speaking again. Well eh would have spoken again if she hadn't kissed him again. That was again not something he had expected from her. This time though, he kissed her back, but he was still gentle about it.
Though his job meant that he hurt a lot of men, he would never hurt a woman, mortal or not in her case. That was not something he would ever do.
He smiled as she reached down and took his hand. He shivered at first from the contact, but recovered easily enough. Rudi knew he didn't have soft hands, they were heavily calloused from all the fighting. "What did you want to show me?"

A small crossed her face as she grasped his hands. Hers were perfectly soft, as she was most of the time immaterial and therefore did not recieve any human callouses. Feeling his rough hands reminded her of the trees that she loved and was surrounded by. When he asked where they were going, she smiled wider. "You'll see." For such a petite girl, she was surprisingly strong when she began to pull him along toward thier destination. Thoughts ran through her head-but she knew simply one thing; if she showed him this, she would be bound to him forever, no matter if he found himself a normal human girl or not. If she shared this with him; she would die if he left her. This made her pause. Was she ready for this? Was he ready for it? She turned to look at him. "Will you love me, forever?"

He thought about the words she was saying as he followed her. There was no doubt in his mind that there were things that he had to learn about her. Her words though worried him. There was no doubt that he would always dwell here in the forest.
"I think I could love you for a long time, even though we have only just met."
He smiled at her, he was a little different at the moment, to who he normally was but that would change when he was not in the woods. She did not know his more violent side.
