Drannor I sighed as I worked with one of the bench presses. I knew this gym too well and I did not think anything could go wrong here. My false arm was still working well.
The weights continued to work up and down, though I was only really working with one arm, seeing as the other had no really muscles. Most people did not even know that though, seeing as the thing looked too real.
I smiled though, hearing the door open and then close as someone else came into the gym.

Ceylon entered the gym, wearing his long army trackie pants and a light green top. He nodded to Drannor, not knowing who he was, but didn't speak. People came to the gym to get fit, not to talk.
He headed over to the treadmill, seeing it wasn't working and decided to do weights instead. He didn't need a catcher, he was strong enough to do it himself. Placing about 20kg on each side of the bar, he laid down and breathed evenily, pushing it up and down. The silence was filled with breathing.

Drannor Silverleaf I nodded in response to the other guy who came in, not really knowing him. Though usually I did not need a spotter, some of the time i t was a good thing that some of the younger guys had one.
Several times, I continued to push the weights up and down with my arms. I knew what I was doing in here, and it merely took a single thought for that other arm to work.
I put the weights back down on the rack and went to slide out. But my other hand did not let go. "Oh god no!"

Ceylon put the weights up, sweating only slightly and turned his head at the other mans curse. "You okay mate?" he asked noting that his hand was still holding onto the weight bar and rose an eyebrow. It then clicked for who this was, Lieutenant General Drannor, he was a champion in his own right. "Lieutenant General Drannor, are you okay?" he asked standing to offer his aid if it was wanted. There were stories about the man, most good but others not so flattering.

Drannor I was not too pleased about this. Then I looked over at the other guy, nodding my head when he spoke to me. I knew him now that he was a bit closer to me. "Umm yeah I could, Lieutenant Major Ceylon."
I tugged at my hands and it did not even budge an inch. "May sound odd to hear this, but my hands not listening to me." I was not sure if he knew about the fact I had a mechanical hand or not.

Ceylon sighed at the full title. "Ceylon is fine, Lieutenant General," he said and looked at the hand with a grin. "Don't worry sir, I know about your hand...I think you'll be hard pressed to find someone who doesnt," he chuckled to himself. He studied the hand, not touching it and turned his head to meet Drannor's gaze. "Want me to try and pry it off?" he asked, unsure what else to do.

Drannor "So much for that not becoming common knowledge. Seems someone told others though I usually tell people not to." I sighed though. "I'm not sure why it's done this, so I guess you can try."
This was a pain in the neck when it happened like this. I knew that much. "First time it would have to of happened as well, so I know nothing there." Though it was a little frustrating I did not really get too annoyed with the thing for doing such things.
"Though if it does not want to come off of there the only other way i can think of getting it off of there is undoing the straps that hold it in place on my arm." At least there was nothing here but an ugly scar where it met my real elbow. That I was most certainly glad of at the moment.

He nodded, knowing it wouldn't hurt if he hit the hand with a sledge hammer and murmered to himself. "Well, I'll give it a shot..." he said and pried the fingers off, though he tried not to break them despite not being real. It was an odd feeling, he decided, pulling something that felt no pain despite it felt like a normal arm. A finger came loose, and another and one more. He did the last two at once, and finally they came loose. "Well, it worked," he grinned and laughed quietly. "Everyone knows Sir, most tell your story in awe...suprised you are still here and at a high rank. Most would stay home," he said

Drannor Silverleaf "Thanks for that." I sighed, sitting up and smiled. "Better check nothings broken in there. And well, I belong here. There is nothing at the moment that will stop me from doing that same duty as the rest of you to my own country." I sighed, reaching over with the other hand and undoing the few straps that held the arm on. I did nto care that the stump that was my real elbow was revealed when I removed the lower part.
It had never really healed properly that part of my arm. My hands ran over the end of it, and it was not long before i found the frayed cord. "Damn."

He grinned and bowed his head. "No problem sir," he said and watched with intrest as he removed the arm. It was intresting, for it wasn't every day you saw someone with only half an arm. "I believe that to sir, I'm here to fight till the end," he nodded

Drannor Silverleaf "Many of us likely beleive that, Ceylon. For me, there is nothing that will stop me from bouncing back out there other than old age." I smiled. "Looks like I'm going to have to get this damn thing fixed. One of the pads that respond to whatever I am thinking for it to do's damaged." I sighed, carefully attaching it back in place. "Several of the newer boys seem to pale when they see me with it not attached. Weak stomachs I guess."

He nodded. "That they do, they'll learn real quick though..no time for weak stomachs on the field," he said stood tall once more. "Nice to meet you in person sir, I'm sure i'll see you around," he said and left the room quietly.

Drannor Silverleaf "Certainly not the place on the field. Though there were two girls in the class when I showed them, and they did not even pale. That still amuses me that boys would go pale and girls would not."
I smiled, then shrugged my massive shoulders. "It was nice to meet you as well, Ceylon. we'll meet again, I am sure of that."
