He chuckled quietly, his chest bouncing with the deep sound. "Why thank you," he whispered in reply as they faced the preist. "Are you ready?" he asked quietly and Kayson nodded. "We are here to day, to join this young couple together forever," the aged preist said. "Before I begin, is there any who wish to oppose to this marrige?" he asked the crowd and paused, wondering if one would reply.

Big Day

Alexa Collins I smiled and waited incase someone did say they were against this. That would be just my luck if someone did say such things to us. After all, I did seem to have a fair bit more misfortune than anyone. But maybe, just maybe, for once I would not have anything bad happen. It would seem a little unfair if someone chose to take this away from me as well. No one would dare to do this. Not after all the fame I had helped to bring our great nation this year.
I had seen Sally and Kira in the crowd, plus a lot of others from the stables. That had pleased me indeed, it seemed I was loved by the others at least. They were the family I had now though. I waited with him but no one spoke out against us and that made me almost laugh in relief at that. It seemed that no one was interested in ruining this special day for me. Somehow I wondered if my father even knew how well I had represented our nation not so long ago.
It did not seemt o be so at the moment. There was nothing from him that I had heard anyway. I knew he'd probably ask to call me at least from the jail, seeing as I had sent him a wedding notice be as that may. He knew that today was the day of my wedding, and though I had my mobile phone on me somewhere, now he would know was not the time to call me at all. It was rude to call someone when they were in a holy place such as this.
Of course having all these reporters around me did not bother me anymore. Too used to them being around me, was I, to react to something if they said it to me. I was not going to even acknowledge they were here. Everyone in town knew I was getting married today, it was no small secret, but that was the story of my life at the moment. I blushed as I thought about the fact that since I had gotten to National Level with Perception Prince I had not had a normal human day at all. Always, I had been surrounded by reporters whenever I left the house. Not that I really cared that they were here. This was one of the days that I knew I was really meant to shine.
Every girls dream to find the man they loved most and get married one day to that perfect guy.

The thick silence continued. To Kayson, it seemed, that the priest was waiting for someone to protest. But finally, with a small smile, he continued. "It seems forturne and happiness will shine upon you both," he said raising a book in the air which Kayson took to be a bible. "We gather here today for the marrige of Miss Alexandra Marie Collins and Mr Kayson James King.." he said and Kayson pulled away, his attention caught by her perfect smile.
The light shone though the chaples stained window, lighting her glossy curls which he had always loved. She seemed so different, yet so much the same. Everyone, including him, was used to seeing her in sweat pants or jeans. A t-shirt stained often by Prince and his snuffling nose. He smiled at the thought.
He caught the last of the priests words and nodded. "I do."

Alexa Collins I sighed as I heard my full name, such a long time since I had been called that, seeing as I preffered to go by Alexa. Not that it mattered all that much. My mind was completely elsewhere at the moment, thinking of other things to pass the time.
Like the new house we would be in after today. So much to do there, and all the time in the world to do it in, for the mean time. Though I still had my job to do at Sally's stables.
I smiled though at the end of his words though, and I heard Kayson's answer. Then it was my turn. "I do," I replied, rather confident.

he flashed her a smile at those words, but couldn't take the grin off his face. She was his. Forever. He liked that idea, he would love and care for her until the end of time, he'll have her stubboness and all. "You may now kiss the bride," the priest declaired and Kayson turned to face her. He met her gaze evenly, still clasping her hands in his own and pulled her towards him gently. His lips brushed against hers, so soft and perfect he couldn't help but sigh with content. "You are my everything," he whispered when he pulled away slightly.

Alexa Collins Though I knew there were many things about me that were not right from my childhood, all of that seemed to soar out of the window as I kissed him back. At last, he was mine and I was his. There was no longer any need for me to use my father's name anymore. That was not something I had been wanting to get rid of any sooner.
I smiled as I kissed him back. When he spoke though, I simply said, "As you are mine."

He smiled and chuckled once more. "Yes Mrs King," he said, liking the way the name rolled off his tounge easily. He kissed her once more, just a light peck, and turned to face their friends and family. They were all clapping and he could not help but smile. "Did you like your suprise?" he asked as two dogs barked, bounding down the isle with roses hanging from their mouths. He chuckled as they sat before Alexa's feet, Cira nosed her hand and dropped the flower as did Skye.

Alexa Collins "How could I not?" I smiled at him. Yes that name certainly sounded better than my old one. "That was a very nice little surprise." I chuckled. He knew me only too well right now. "Was hard for me to sleep last night, not having you next to me."
That was something I was not used to any more, sleeping alone. At least now there was nothing to worry about though for either of us. Though I had to go to the hospital on Friday, just so they could check that infernal cancer really was gone from me for good. I felt like it was gone.
One hand went out and patted both our dogs, then I laughed as I saw Lily coming over with the others. June, Mrs. Jones, Kira, Sally, Talila, Sarah and James.
"This would have to be a first, seeing you out of your riding gear," Sally teased.
"Hey I don't wear anything but that most of the times. This s is a rarity."

He smiled as they all approached, picking Lily up so she sat on his hip lightly, his other arm was wrapped around Alexa's waist and drawing her to his side. "Let us head outside?" he suggested, nodding towards the now open doors with music and food outside. He took her hand, pulling her towards the opening and smiled gently to her. "Let's see how you dance," he chuckled, placing Lily down and resting a hand on her waist and pulling her hand upwards gently with his. "I didn't sleep well either," he admited in a hushed tone, spinning slightly on the floor.

Alexa King I smiled at him as we walked, I was careful of course not to tear anything. "We shall see, well, you will anyway." I knew how to dance, but I was not as graceful as the other girls around me.
"Took a bit to get everyone ready, beelive me. I'm lucky to have the neighbours I did, they all came round to help out."

He gasped in mock horror. "Girls chatting? Maybe I am glad I wasn't there," he chuckled lightly and looked down to meet her gaze, leading her easily though the steps and other slowly began to dance as well. "You know," he said after a moments pause "we have barely known each other 8 months...but so much has already passed that it feels longer." "Oh, and I have another suprise for you when we get home," he said with a playful grin "I have a feeling you will like it."

Alexa King I smiled at him. "Since when have I never liked any of your surprises?" He knew me better than that, but I was teasing him. "It's weird thinking about having a whole new surname. Who knows what will happen now." It did not take me much to get back into dancing, I had once been the Prom Queen."

He flashed her a warm smile and let loose a snort of lauhgter a the thought. "You were prom queen?" he asked with a playful grin "I can picture it now, little miss perfect in her ball room gown." He pause for a moment and smiled. "Well, kind of just like now," he said with a wry smile.
He thought about the last name comment and rolled it off his tounge a few times. "I think it suits you," he said "If I may say so myself."

Alexa King "be nice. I didn't really say that out loud did i?" I must have if he'd said that. I'd never told him that before. "I think it does myself, though it feels wierd to me. Pity my father treated me so, even he would ahve wanted to see this. Too bad for him."
My voice was low though, I did not want everyone to hear that. Though i knew they all knew what had happened to me, seeing as it had been in the paper.

Kayson nodded sadly, spinning her under his arm. "Come, Alexa, do not think of such thoughts tonight," he said with a small smile "this is all about you." "Oh and maybe a little about me," he added with a playful grin. "Sally's having the kids tonight...he insisted."
