Pollyana Caesar I smiled as I headed aboutt he house working hard to get all my things unpacked as always. my robotic helper worked as well, though never left the house. Would not do for someone to see it. I knew that much, that robots were rare here. Not even invented.
So that was certainly something I had to keep to myself. "Put those over there, Cirrus," I said, as the robot asked me where I wanted a box of things.

Fern somewhat stumbled though the now dark streets. The houses, so he had found, were well spaced apart.
"When the tolling of the temple bell Told me that dawn and my vigil's end had come at last I felt as though I'd passed a hundred Autumn nights.
Why wait the tolling of the temple bell On a day that took such heavy toll of all our hopes?
You promided to return. How long must I still wait till you fulfil that vow? Spring did not forget the tree Whose branches once were white with frost.
Do not give up your waiting! One unawaited and who made no vow Will soon, I hear, visit the plum tree's trailing branch." He giggled like a little girl, singing the worlds over and over in his head. It was named Polly, after the beautiful girl he couldn't get out of his mind.
He stumbled once more, almost falling face first into the dirt road. He came to a pause, squinting into the distance to look for her home. "Polly, Polly my dear little Polly doll," he murmered as he zig zagged though the road. Something bumped into his shoulder and he jumped to face it, his fists unsteady before him. "Oh Nuitdor," he chuckled seeing the black mares face "I wondered what happened to you." He reached to pat her head, but stumbled and missed. She snorted though her nose, seeming used to this kind of thing. "You know my darling, this world has one thing going for it," he grinned "it tastes bloody awful!"
He stumbled once more, finally resting his hand on her muscled shoulder and pulled himself half way onto her back. Head on one side, legs kicking on the other, the mare began to move slowly, carrying her rider towards the light in the distance. He didn't seem to mind, merely singing to himself and chanting the riddles he had taught her. "Do you think she likes me Nuitdor?" he asked sluring slightly on his words.
The mare had no reply, as she had no words to speak, and continued on her way up the path. She paused outside the house, stomping her hoof on the decking around the large home and snorted loudly. Calling to her newest friend without words, hoping she would reply.

Pollyana Casar Only my voice could control Cirrus and when i heard the knocking sound on the front porch I sighed and turned to face the robot. "Deactivate!" I commanded. Who had come here this time? Not more of those snooping disgusting humans I certainly hoped. I could not stand them.
"Yes mistress," it said and then it was silent and still. I smiled and then headed towards the front door knowing that what i was about to do could have many problems. Especially if it was one of those snooping more simple minded and dirty humans. If it was Fern though, then I would not be too worried. At least he was welcome here.
Oh how I hoped it was him, there was no more unpacking to do, Cirrus and I had taken only half the afternoon to deal with all of that. Now I was able to relax and I had managed to create a sightless and feeless bubble around the house and its yard behind so that the toxi air would not annoy me. Other humans could not detect it, though Fern might seeing as he could sense magic no matter how small the amount.
I had not come here too soon at all, this planetwas almost uninhibitable. There was no chance that I was goign to let them make me fail in my mission. I sighed and opened the door. "Hi, Fern, Nutidor. Come out the back, bit bettter air there."

"Oh it's Polly!" he cried with drunken delight, falling into a heap at Nutidor's hooves. "Aren't you a smart pony my girl," he said, clambering to his feet and hugging her thick dark neck.
He turned to face her, his cheeks red from the cold. "Polly, I have something to tell you my dear," he said managing to stand somewhat staight. He hummed the tune of the song he had written about her merely days before.
"YOU will come one day in a waver of love, Tender as dew, impetuous as rain, The tan of the sun will be on your skin, The purr of the breeze in your murmuring speech, You will pose with a hill-flower grace.
You will come, with your slim, expressive arms, A poise of the head no sculptor has caught And nuances spoken with shoulder and neck, Your face in a pass-and-repass of moods As many as skies in delicate change Of cloud and blue and flimmering sun."
He smiled at her, a slight goofy grin and bust out into laughter. "You are beautiful!" he cried to the world and cackled "Please be mine!" he begged

I sighed, knowing what had gotten into him. At least my gift would not tax my strength to deal with that. He had no idea what he was doing at the moment. My skin shined for only a few minutes before that drunken stupor vanished from him.
I went blurry eyed for a second and then smiled. “You have no idea how much of an idiot you seemed just then, Fern. At least I managed to stop you from being even more of an idiot seeing as I cannot stay here in this world for all that long. Once my job is done I have to go home, though I am allowed to bring one other person with me, other than my robot friend.”

He blinked slowly, as if waking from a deep slumber and looked at her. "Oh." His grey eyes closed and opened once more, unable to drag his eyes away from her perfect form. His cheeks blushed to a deep red, remembering what had just happened. "If it makes anything better..." he said after a moment "everything I said....I ment."
He stepped backwards slightly, falling out from the protection of the pouring rain and Nuitdor nickered to him gently, urging him in her motherly way back under the shelter. He complied somewhat willingly, blushing and now wet to stare at her with pure silver orbs.
He smiled his handsome crooked smile, seeming awkard as he waited for her reply. "Sorry."
OOC: ick soz...not back yet few more days

My eyes were a little wider than they normally where when he finished talking. "I do not really know as yet who it will be that I allow to come back with Cirrus and I. Who ever they are, its not going to be easy for them to get the world I am from."
I smiled though. "You might want to stay the night, Fern. Storm's brewing out there, and its going to be a bad one. Just remember that everything that is in here is real, though it seems from a different time period."
I chuckled, I knew that everything I had was different. Most things hovered, instead of standing on the floor using wooden legs and the like.

He nodded slowly, turning to look over his shoulders seeming to forget for a moment how he got wet in the first place. "Oh.." he said shaking his head quickly to flick some of the water which was squishing his curls.
His cheeks blushed, looking though the open door behind her and notcing a lot of thing he had never seen...let alone used. "Thank you." He bowed slightly to her, showing that he was in her dept.

"There is one other person here, but she's not human like you and I. More of a robot. You'll see her soon, when we get into the kitchen." I smiled at him though, "Come on. I'll get her to take Nutidor out the back. She'll only listen to me, unless I give her other commands as well." I chuckled though. Then I entered the kitchen and looked over at the robot. "Activate, Cirrus!" The robot moved. "Waitin for your order, mistress.."

He followed her though the house, careful not to touch her or anything. But he froze solid at the sight of the robot. "Wooo..." he said staring at his with unblinking eyes.
He took a small step backwards, eyes flickering for robot to master. "I'll look after Nutidor," he said after a moment and ducked out sight before she could say anything.
It was so...so...foregin.

Pollyana I smiled. "Don't worry, Cirrus cannot hurt us." I looked at Cirrus, she waited quietly. "Please go and make one of the beds, Cirrus."
"Of course, mistress."
I followed Fern out of the room. I knew she would do as told and nothing else. There was nothing wrong with her.
"Cirrus was given three commands. Because of these she cannot hurt us. The first is: A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm. The second would be: A robot must obey orders given it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law. And the third would be: A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law."
I smiled. "Foolproof system."

He turned at the sound of her footsteps, standing barely under the roof and patted Nutidor's soft wet nose. "I see," he said, sounding more sober then her had in a long time and pushed the snuffling nose slightly away.
"It's just very....different," he said his soft gaze flickering towards her slightly before returning to the mare.

Pollyana Caesar
I smiled at him. I knew that this would have come as a bit of a shock, seeing what I have inside here. Not many people do I let come to my house because of that. People would try and steal things, and Cirrus cannot stop them, oweing to those three laws."
I sighed. "It's not easy living up to such things."

Rubbing the soft velvet nose, he nodded slightly but kept his gaze lowered, thanking the dark slightly. If it had been light, she would of seen the blush in his cheeks.
Somehow, despite being one for the ladies in his home land before he left, he was falling for her. And he barely knew her. He whistled quietly, the same tune as before and looked up at her under her bright blonde curls, murmering the words. "Tender as dew, impetuous as rain. The tan of the sun will be on your skin," he paused, wondering if she knew it was about her. Written for her, he had called it 'Polly's Wish.'
Looking at her once more, his soft orbs blinked and he gestured out into the rain. 'Where can Nuitdoir stay?" he asked

I smiled at him. Then I looked back into the house for a minute, hearing Cirrus calling me. She would wait for me. "I'll show you," I replied, smiling.
I moved out down around the side of the house, and opened the gate to let the mare in. When she was in the yard, I chuckled and then pointed out to where there were a few trees. "There's a three walled roofed shelter there. She can stay back here in the yard."
