Alexa Collins I waited for him to join me before I moved over towards him. “I’m going to go and get Lily now. Though I think its best – and Talila agrees with me here – that we say that you’re her father and not my own father. She knows that its going to be difficult but its better than James finding out the truth at the moment.”
I smiled and kissed him back. “It’s the only thing that we could think of and you know that Talila and I are almost the same really. But only because of the twins thing.”

Kayson. James. King.
He blinked, not really suprised as he had already thought about it himself. He pressed his lips gently to her forehead, smiling into her eyes. "Nothing would make me happier, but," he paused and sighed, meeting her gaze once more "James is a smart kid, he would figure it out in a second...also how old is she? 2 years? 3?" He shook his head sadly. "Alexa, I have only known you for...6-7 months? How could I have had a child with you," he sighed and smoothed her cheek lightly.
He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close and sighed, closing his eyes. "Alexa, I think we should maybe say it was a friend of yours...and she cannot look after her child and we offered to adopt her?" he suggested, not wanting to pretend anything but knowing James shouldn't know the ugly truth.

Alexa Collins "Talila's taken care of that issue. She knows how to tell him about this sort of thing better than I do. He won't make much of a fuss about her. So its easiest if we just stick to the truth. I think its best that way. I asked her to explain that to him though, so there wont be any surprises for him."
I smiled. 'She's better at explaining this sort of thing to him. Plus she would have told him anyway. SHe wont say anything about our father being Lily's dad as well though, that one we can leave unknown."

He nodded, kissing her hair lightly and smiled. "So the father is unknown? I am the adoptive parent," he chuckled and shook his head "you really are a built in family." "Did you want me to come with you? I mean...come and get Lily?" he asked shyly, meeting her gaze and sighed once more. His life, it was so completcated now...but he loved it, because he had her. Anything, anything at all he would do for her. He would throw himself of the tallest mountain in the world if she told him to. "Love you," he murmered, kissing her head once more.

Alexa Collins I grinned at him. "Something like that yes. Sure you can come. I've been keeping in contact with my freinds who have her at the moment. Apparently she's starting to talk.."
I grinned at him. "She looks too much like me for us to say that she was completely adopted. At least thats what they tell me."
I chuckled. "I'll jsut let those two know that we'll be back soon."
I smiled and stuck my head inside. "Hey Talila, we'll be back soon okay? Dont let James eat out the whole house."
She laughed. "Okay!"
I looked back at Kayson.

He shook his head slightly but could not help the chuckle which left his mouth. He loved them all, his family, they were all he had. Taking her hand in his, he threw a wave back to the house and headed down the stairs. "I am looking forwards to meeting her," he said quietly, squeasing her hand as they hit the concreate path below and headed to the car.
He smiled, thinking what it would be like to have her daughter around., Would they be alike? Though they barely knew each other... "When was the last time you saw her?" he asked

Alexa "Susan popped in with her once after a lesson at the stables to have a chat and had Lily with her. That would have only been a month ago, maybe less. The time before that was before I met you."
I smiled. "She looks a lot like me, though she's got dad's sandy hair. She's definitely got my eyes ans that was one of the reasons dad had me give her away. Though I did not give her away for a while because of him, but so that she would be safe from my dad. Julie and Ronald March have looked after her well. They're some of the best friends I have at the moment."
"I always visited them every few months so I did not miss anything. I was there when she said her first word, and the first time she walked. She actually looked right at me and said,, "Mooma." I chuckled. "She knows who I am, which is good."

He nodded and smiled slightly, wondering what it would be like to have a child of there own. The two of theres. They would already have two children, Sara and Lily...but another one would be amazing. He squeased her hand gently, though continued to walk in silence. "Where do they live?" he asked, starting the car. He paused and smiled slightly at her. "You are so beautiful," he murmered, smoothing her cheek with a gentle hand before smiling and starting the car.

Alexa Collins I laughed. "Not far from here. Only a couple of streets away. They live about halfway between here and the stables." I grinned. "That's why I get to see her so often. Julie knows that Lily is my daughter no matter what."
I slipped into the car and did up my seat belt. "I'm not as beautiful as my mum was, nor as pretty as Talila, Kayson." I smiled though as i thought about my little girl. "Lily's very smart for her age, she knows that I'm her motehr and not Julie, though Julie is at the moment."

A smile grew, despite his thoughts...he wondered how he had never noticed her going? But she hadn't seen her that often. In answer to his own question, he shrugged and watched the road carefully. "You are the most beautiful woman I have ever met," he replied to her, smiling once more. And she was, no other held a light to her in his eyes. The silence grew once moree and he sighed. "Will she like me?" he asked suddenly "Will she?"

Alexa Collins I knew my daughter better than he knew. “Oh she’ll like you, don’t worry. She’s never met her dad; he does not even know her. That’s how uninterested he was in having me look after her personally as I should have.” I sighed. Kayson thought I was pretty. That was something that I was not really used to. I was not as pretty as the rest of the girls my age but did not say that. I was happy with him, so there was no point in arguing about that. It would only be something that would hurt me if I did. “Turn left here,” I said, seeing the street sign.

He breathed a small sigh of relef, but it did little to calm his nerves. Nodding, he flicked the blinker and turned left at her command. "We'll have to teach her to ride...wont we," he chuckled lightly and smiled again at Alexa. The fingers thrummed lightly against the wheel, the nerves taking over once more. "You know Alexa...for someone who comes from a pretty messed up family...your pretty sane," he said, smiling gently to show he didn't mean it. "We are so lucky to have you...James... Talila...me..." he murmered "Remember that...okay?"

Alexa Collins I chuckled. “Messed ups a good word for my family yes. Though we did not always be so inclined.” I smiled though. “It’s the driveway on the left, the white stone one.” There were three gravel grey driveways then one white stone one. The house I knew was old but larger that my apartment. Two stories as well. It would not take us long now to get there. I knew that, and I knew that they were home because I could see the Yellow Suzuki Swift in the driveway that told me Julie was home. “Oh good, that’s Julies car. She’s home.”

He nodded, pulling into the driveway easily and turning off the engine. He was nervous, a rare feeling for the strong man. He was the rock, anyone could rely on him. And yet, this was something different, something he was not used to.
He clambered out of the white ute, quickly opening Alexa's door and helping her from the car. Squeasing her hand gently, he looked at the house. It was a big place. "She will fit right into our new home," he chuckled

Alexa Collins I grinned. “That she will. I’m sure that she’ll get used to her new home no matter what. Plus she’s got me now so that will make things easier.” I showed him the way up to the front door. I knocked. There was the sound of a toddler laughing somewhere inside. Then footsteps and the white door opened. “Hello Alexa,” the woman said. “Come for another visit?” “Actually, I came to take her home, Julie. I've found a way to keep enough money and have my own place.” “Come on in both of you,” she said, smiling. “This is Kayson,” I added. We rounded a corner and we could see the little bronze haired girl. She dropped the block she was playing with. “Mooma?” The little toddler shrieked and then walked over to me. I squatted down and picked her up, huggin her tightly.”
