gem i smiled at her, my face was always soft when I was talking with her. I never left out anything that i heard about Drannor, and she knew that.
"That would be good actually."
I smiled down at her dog and patted Janie's head. "Hey Janie. Sorry for not bringing Pippa."

Sahar. Ashia. Nekana.
She nodded dumbly, turning on the kettle and waited while it boiled. "Please...tell me why Drannor has not talked to me.." she said so quietly, she would be suprised if Gem heard it. Janie whined slightly, laying on the clean kitchen floor by Sahar's feet. The coffee was poored and Sahar sat at the table, gesturing to the seat in front of her. Swirling so she was sitting on her feet, she sighed and waited. "Is...he dead?"

Gem Hawsksong "I bring both good and bad news when it comes to Drannor. The good news is that he is alive."
I paused.
"The bad news is he is being deported back home because of a rather serious injury he got while he was out fighting on the field. Auraka tells me that a bullet hit his wrist and that they are not sure that he will be able to use that hand any more."

Sahar Ashia Nekana
She closed her eyes, clutching the coffee mug until her hands burned from the raditing heat. No. Why her? She knew it was a selfish question to ask, but it seemed all she got was badluck. It always happened when her life seemed to be turning around.. The eyes flashed open, staring at Gem. "When?" she asked "when is he coming home?" She would be there for him, helping him with whatever she could. She would never leave his side. Unless..of course...he sent her away,

Gem Hawksong My eyes softened as she asked me a couple of questions. I knew that he would be already being sent back. he could not fight so there was no point in him being still over there at the base. "As far as I know, he'll alraedy be on his way home. I dont know how serious the damage is to his hand but I dont think he'll be fighting at all at the moment with that injury."

Sahar Ashia Nekana
She looked away, not wanting to meet Gem's kind gaze. She didn't want nor need sympathany. She was fine, she just needed Drannor..well. At least he's alive.. she thought with grim humour and sighed. "How is Auraka?" she asked, trying to think of other things. She paused and looked at Gem, who seemed to be the only friend she ever had and sighed. She needed to tell someone...but was this who? Maybe she should wait for Drannor..tell him first.

Gem Hawksong "You sure you're okay?" She didn't look it. But then again maybe she was faking. She wouldn't though.
"He's fine, though I worry as much as you do about Drannor."
I sighed. There was so much to worry about and i knew that. Not much we could do about that really.

She nodded slowly, taking a sip of hot coffee and sighing. "Yes...I am fine," she said sounding somewhat distant. "Gem...can I tell you something?" she asked quietly and looked out the window for a moment before turning back to Gem.

Gem Hawksong I looked over at her and smiled. "You know you can tell me anything, Sahar. I wont say anything to anyone. Well I told Auraka to tell Drannor that I would pass on the message and i have."
I smiled at her. "What is it?"

She tapped the side of the mug, wondering if this was the right path. "Well..." she started and hesitated "I don't want Drannor to go back to the front...not only because it’s not safe but I need him around here more..at least for the next 9 months..." She sighed and looked over at her beautiful friend, scratching Janie's head lightly. "I'm not even sure if I want this..and I know I cannot do it by myself," she murmured, eyes flicking to Gem. Did she understand? Or would she have to say it? She shifted, pulling her knees to her chest and waited.

Gem Hawksong My mind thought for a bit trying to figure out what she was talking about. She had me confused for a few moments as i worked out what she was saying.
"I think I would feel the same if it was the same thing for me. I know what you're talking about and even if he does have to go back you can always ask em for help."

The eyebrow rose, staring at her in silence before speaking once more. "I..I'm not sure I want a child Gem..and anyways this isn't one," she sighed, running small hand though her red locks. "I know I can ask you, but you have your own life...and I really want him here, to help raise his children..you know?" she asked dropping her gaze the carpet before her. "I just want a normal life...i'm only 19!" she said and put the coffee down on the table with a small 'click'. "I want Drannor to stay with me for the right reasons..not because he knocked me up on our first date," she said and smiled without humour. "What should I do?"

Gem hawksong I smiled at her. There was a little bit of doubt in my mind as to why she was so worried about telling him. I knew that Drannor would look after her, even if he could not be there all the time at the moment. "You will have to tell him, after all, he should know about this. I am sure that he will be able to make the right decision himself. You never know, he might not be able to fight any more after the injury he got while he was out there. Never know your luck." I knew that sounded bad, but I was not sure what I could say....
OOC: icky.... so forced

She blinked her bright green orbs, staring at Gem though seeming to be staring though her. She sighed, pulling her knees to her chest and let her hair fall around her face. "I know I have to tell him," she mumbled into her knees "but I don't want to wreak his life...I don't want to guilt him into staying...you know?" She lifted her head, resting her chin on her knees and blinked slowly, begging for her to understand.
