Sahar shook her head, the flurry of red hair flying in every direction. She was nervous, unsure what he would say to what she had to tell. He had a right to know. She smiled, flashing her teeth to make sure they were clean, before heading back downstairs. Drannor would be returning soon, and she wanted everything ready. She had cooked a nice dinner, pasta so he wouldn't have to much trouble with only one hand.
She rested a hand softly onto her stomach, calming both herself and speaking to whatever was growing there. "Hello bubba," she murmered softly, feeling rather stupid "lets just see what will happen eh?" she asked, but of course no reply came.

Drannor Silverleaf It did not take me all that long to walk back to her house. I only lived five houses down the road from her. I could not drive with only one hand and riding a push bike was going to just as hard as driving would have been.
"knock knock," I called when I reached the front door. I was wearing normal clothes for once, not the army print she was so used to seeing me in the last few times she'd seen me.

"Come in," she called as he spoke from just outside the door, she was proud of herself for her voice hadn't even shook. She lit the last candle, moving gracefully in her swishing skirt to open the door for him. She smiled as she saw him, giving his cheek a quick peck before ushering him in. "Sit," she said "sit."

Drannor I smiled as she answered the door. "Don't you look nice?" She knew what I was like, I often could be pretty blunt and to the point, but occasionally there was a less stern side to me, that showed usually around her. Never did that side show though if we were at the base.
I walked in. "You're up to something, aren't you?" I knew that from the moment i came into the right room. Nothing could she ever hide from me.

She blushed as he completemented her, she wasn't used to such things being directed at her. The red colour deepened as he spoke again and she nodded meekly. "Eat first..then we can talk," she said, tucking into her pasta and advoiding his gaze. She wanted to tell him, wanted him to understand...but she barely did herself so she couldn't expect him to.
The moments past, barley no words just the quiet clunk of forks and the occasional slurp of noodles.

Drannor I ate in silence, musing over the thing i wanted to ask her. I was not one for showing too much emotion, but i knew that this time she would know that there was a side to me that was completely buried from teh years of fighting.
I loved her and she knew that, but it was something that no one knew i was possibly capable of. I had to ask her to marry me, but it was going to be no easy thing.

She put the fork down slowly, using the napkin to mop the little sauce from her face and sighed. "Drannor...I should of told you this a long time ago," she started off wringing her hands in the table cloth and sighing once more. "Remember...the day we met?" she asked and blushed a bright red once more. "I...well..to just say it I am pregant.." she paused, still not meeting his gaze. "I have known for a while now...Gem knows..but I didn't want to.." she threw her hands into the air "I don't know...I just didn't want you to love me from the wrong reasons..but I need you." She blinked quickly, refusing to let the tears fall. "I need you..and I don't know what to do," she whispered still not looking at him.

Drannor Silverleaf
I ate slowly; it was not the easiest of things to do with one hand when things kept sliding around on my plate. That was completely embarrassing for me, as I was not usually having this much trouble with eating. I smiled though when I had finished, wiping my face as always.
I listened to her words and something about them was not all that surprising. I was however not sure at first what to say in response to that. She knew me well enough to know that it did not matter and that I would love her no matter what. After all, it was not just her appearance that attracted me that day.
“Sahar, you know I love you and would do anything that was in my own power to stay here with you. And I will stay until they need me to fight again. You know that.”
I smiled at her gently, and then stood up, knowing I had to do this now, or I would never find the right time to do it. Walking around the table, I took her hand and gently pulled her to her feet. “I want to ask you something, myself actually.”

The reddness stayed her in cheeks, but finally she manged to force herself to turn and face him. Her green eyes ran over his familar features, glad to hear what he had said. But that was the only thing that worried her the most, until they need me to fight. They would take him back, send him off...but what would she do if he couldn't return? She would have a son or a daughter to raise by herself... She couldn't do that. She opened her mouth to speak, but was distracted by him pulling her to her feet.
She stood, tilting her chin to meet his gaze and wondered what he was doing.

Drannor Silverleaf Okay this was not the easiest of things I had to do one of these days. It was though of the things that I wanted to do, seeing as I loved her more than she was likely aware of at the moment. It did not show all that often but this would show her just how much.
I smiled at her, watching her face as I slowly and slightly unsteadily, lowered myself down onto one knee in front of her. She knew better than to help me as I refound my balance, I never asked for help even if I needed it. I shifted slightly, hoping the answer would be a good one.
"Sahar..we have known each other a while now, and I love spending every moment with you..." I started and looked at the floor before dropping onto one knee and pulling a small box from my blue tunic.
"I would be hounoured if you would spend the rest of your life with me, forever... Sahar Ashia Nekana will you marry me?" I asked, finally looking up to meet her eyes.

Sahar's jaw dropped, the eyes stared at him unblinking. She loved him, of course the answer was yes. But...she wanted to be sure that it was in responce to her saying she was carrying his child. "Drannor..." she murmered, her soft hand running and resting on his cheek as she met his gaze. There was nothing but pure stubboness there. "Yes," she whispered, bending only slightly to kiss him gently. "Yes Drannor.." she smiled brightly, blinking once more. She was getting married... "But Drannor.?" she asked "you need to think of something as well.."

Drannor Silverleaf I smiled at her, knowing she meant it. "You know I love you, and I meant to ask you a wile ago actually. Back before I got deported over there actually. I just... ran out of time before I could."
Carefully I got back to my feet and wrapped my one good arm around her gently. In my hang though was a little box. "This is for you," I said."

She smiled slightly, taking the small box from his hand and gasped at the beatuy of the object, It must of costed a fourtune! She hugged him tightly, taking care not to hurt his hand. "I love you Drannor..there will never be another," she whispered, knowing it to be true.

Drannor I smiled, hugging her back. "Do you like it?" I hoped I had gotten her the right size. "I'm not sure if its the right size though, i sorta had to guess." It was true I had no idea what size fingers she had when it came to this sort of thing. Looking down at her, I could tell it was going to be too big for her. A good thing I got paid such a ridiculously large amount.
I knew it would cost me a bit to get done. "You tell me how you want to get married, I can afford anything at the moment."

She shook her head slightly. "Drannor, being with you is enough...and I love the ring," she said slipping it onto her finger. She moved her hand slightly and it fell off, clunking on the floor and she sighed, bending to pick it up but couldn't find it. She pushed the chair out of the way, but it wasn;t there. "um...Drannor?" she asked
