Gem Lamya I leaned into him, it was painful to walk, but he knew that I was too stubborn at the moment. "Why now?" I moaned. Why did it have to be when we were here, celebrating our friends wedding? It was not fair at all. I knew that the moment I stumbled, he'd likely carry me, but it only happened when we were a few meters from the car.
Drannor I sighed as I noticed the sudden dissapearance of Gem and Auraka. Not to mention Sahar had vanished. I looked for her but soon saw her coming back to me. "What happened?"

He kept an arm around her carefully, ready to carry her as soon as she stumbled at the slightly, knowing she was to stubbon to admit such a thing. "You cannot help such things Gem," he told her helping her into the car. He was excited, the children were finally coming, yet also slightly sad that he would miss his friends wedding.
Sahar breathed deeply, explained in a rish. "Gem's water broke, Auraka taken her to the hospital...I need to find her dad," she said quickly and went off though the crowd to find the man who held her children. She spotted him, waving him over and took her crying twins from him. "Gem, Auraka's taken her to hospital...her water broke," she told him in a hurry.

Drannor I sighed. "I guess I should have seen that one coming somehow. Though i can't blame her for having to go all of a sudden." I smiled as the taller, older General came over. "Well, she had rather odd timing," the older man said. "I'll go find them a little later."
Gem Why did this have to happen in the middle of a wedding. "I am sorry that you have to miss out on all the fun when Drannor was there for you."

Sahar smiled, glad for her friend, but also wishing she could be there for her. She leaned over, giving Drannor a quick kiss. "Such is life," she said with a small smile.
Auraka smiled over at her, patting her knee gently. "It's okay Gem, it doesn't matter unless you are okay," he said and smiled "we can always go around and congrats them later."
He pulled into the hospital car park, shooting her a worried glance and knew better then to ask. "Come on Gem, let's bring these kids home," he said offering her a hand.

Gem "I swear this place is becoming almost a second home in a way. How many times have the pair of us been in here of late?" I knew it was a pathetic joke. but at least my mind was kept from over reacting from what was going on. I sighed, taking his hand and managing to get out of the car. I knew that I had been rather silent on the way over, but that was because I was definately filled with pain at the moment. Something I could not ever stand having to deal with.
Drannor "You know, these things do happen." I smiled at her happily. "Do you want to dance?"

He flashed her a smile, glad she was attempting to joke however bad it was. "Here we are," he said leading her inside the hospital. "Hello?" he asked at the desk and nurse came "Yes?" "My wife's water just broke..." "Oh, come this way," she said calmy and grabbed a wheelchair for Gem who seemed to be somewhat struggling.
Sahar sighed but nodded. "I cannot dance.."

Gem I sat down with a lot of relief in doing so. Walking was too painful right now. I knew this would not take very long at all, I just wanted them out of me. How could something as wonderful as children cause so much pain for someone?
Drannor I chuckled. "I'll teach you. So don't worry about that, Sahar Silverleaf." I knew that she would be surprised that her name had two S's in it now. I offered her my hand. "come on."

He walked beside them quickly, holding her hand though smiling broadly. "You'll be fine Gem," he told her gently, kind of knowing what to expect now due to Sahar's own day.
She giggled shyly at her name, suprised at how much she liked it and let him lead for to the floor. "Sorry if I step on your feet," she whispered into his ear, placing an arm on his shoulder and another in his large hand.

Gem I sighed, knowing this was not going to be the easiest of thigns to do, but I had had worse, I knew that. An arrow in a lung was the worst thing to happen to me, this likely could not compare at all. "I know."
Drannor I smiled as I took her hand and placed the other, real hand, on her waist. I knew what I was doing. "Don't worry about it," I murmured. I was used to that kind of thing happening to me. I had had a lot of bad dancers with me before. It was easy to ignore.

Auraka squeased her hand as they entered the room, helping her onto the bed as a doctor entered. He slid into the room, his face once handsome was now the holder of an artfully broken nose. But his smile was kind and calm so Auraka didn't question him. "Miss Gem?" he asked making sure he had the right room and Auraka nodded slowly. "And you are?" the doctor asked "Her husband." "Oh goodie," he said with a grin, shaking hands with Auraka. "Gem, I am Dr. Oliver," he told her "and I promise nothing will go wrong."
Sahar smiled, leaning her head against his shoulder and allowed herself to be lead though the steps. "You dance well," she told him quietly, enjoying the moment. "I can dance...just not this type," she added

Gem I smiled as one of the doctors came in. At first i was surprised by his nose by my eyes went downwards when my body hurt again. "Thats good to hear actually," I managed to say, though I had to force my voice to work and not sound like i was hurting. Once this was over I would be able to talk normally again. There was jsut took much pain at the moment for that to be possible in any humane way.
Drannor Silverleaf "Private school does that to you. It was one of the classes that I had to have in my final year. I jsut have not forgotten any of it." I chuckled and spun her around. The music changed shortly after andothers started to dance.

Sahar smiled, still following his moves with ease. This wasn't as bad as she first thought, no one was laughing at her attempt and she thanked Drannor for that. "I wonder how Gem's doing," she murmered.
Auraka squeased her hand gently, hearing the pain in her voice which she tried to hide. The doctor smiled once more. "I hear your going to be the lucky parents of triplets, I myself have twins and I'll let you know your in for some fun," he said calmly as if speaking to a lost child. Auraka decided he liked him, he seemed to know what he was talking about.

Gem "Yeah we are." I smiled at him for a moment before faltering at another nerve tingling bout of pain. This was no easy thing for me to deal with. Not at all at this moment had I thought this would be what happened.
Drannor "I'm sure Auraka's got things under control over there. You're not doing too bad yourself, Sahar, for one who does not like this kind of a dance."

Sahar shook her head slightly. "I never said I didn't like it, I said I didn't know how," she smiled shyly at the compliment.
Auraka smiled holding her hand loosely as the doctor continued to talk in calming tones. "Now Gem," he said "when I say push, I need you to push okay?" he said "You'll be fine," Auraka murmered, brushing hair from her face.

Drannor "Well, either you're a very fast learner or I'm an idiot because I dont think I would have guessed that you did not know how to dance. You can definately dace." I chuckled though, smiling at her as I continued to lead her.
Gem I nodded, my jaw clenched as something hurt me again. This was way too painful for me at the moment. How could Sahar stand this? There were things I wanted to say, but I shut my mouth against them, knowing they were not very nice.
